definitely her most underrated album. the song "Eric" is about a friends with benefits relationship where mitski wants to love her partner but her partner only wants sex and hurts her while doing so. this song is very important to me since i basically had the same situation with a guy named eric.
Cant believe it doesnt get as much attention as her others… criminal!

This album is imo like the honeymoon version of lana but with mitski, at first everyone was like wtf is this, but then you really know is one of her best. It has 3 of my faves my mitski: liquid smooth, brand new city, and real men are amazing. the whole album is a vibe

Yass now that you've listened through mitski's discography, you should try listening to Atlanta Millionaires Club by Faye Webster. It's a pretty sad album but it has a great groove and vibe.
