A toreador is a bullfighter and I think she’s trying to conjure the image of a bullrider 😭. The bass line on that song is my absolute favorite

Soup is MY FAVORITE!!!!!! It’s about wanting a safe comforting relationship where you can go and pick up soup for them when they’re sick. She said the on top of the roof line is about partying and having the opposite lifestyle that soup is showing
