  • This video shows what motorcycle bags I carry and the setup I use for when I go camping with my motorcycle here in Australia. It features Saddle Bags, Sissybar Bag, Dry Bag, Tank Bag and also a custom made platform for the sissybar rack.
    You can also see photos and written details about the bags on my website located here:

    G,Day mate, I don't know what it is called but it looks like MDF Board (wood) except its plastic. I just had it lying around, it was an old billboard sign that I had made-up years ago by Sign-a-Rama. I cut out the size I needed, drilled 2 holes and then wrapped it in Duct Tape. Cheers... Mark

    I love your set up. Might I suggest a small cable lock to attach your sissy bar bag to the bike. The locks on it are great, but wont help you much if someone just takes the whole bag off.

    Thanks Mark. I need to make something like that. Had an '09 C50. Very good all around bike.

    Where did you get the plastic plate for the rack to rest the bag on?
    An idea if you wanted to leave your bag on the back of the bike unattended goggle Pacsafe and take a look at the mesh lockable systems which allow you to lock the bag to the bike and have confidence it will be secure. They come in various sizes too.

    Here is another one for you if you dont already know about it..........Ducks air intake covers. They do custom air intake covers for your bike, I"ve seen the flame one on a bike and it looked ok.

    Hi Mark,
    Great videos you have going here; some have been very helpful and all are entertaining. I noticed in this vid you made your own luggage board. Can you please tell me where you got the material doing this job?? Its exactly what I need to do with my bike. Kind Regards - Lyall

    G'day Mark. I have the 2008 C50. Wondering does the tank bag scratch the paintwork at all? I'm very house proud and my tank shines like a diamond :-)

    • @BikerBits
      @BikerBits  9 років тому

      If your worried about it, I'd say don't put one on! If you keep the tank bag clean and plenty of polish on your tank... Oh and don"t go down dirt roads you should be fine :-) Cheers Mark

    that sissybar bag is really nice although, I noticed it's nice to be able to lock all the pockets, but it would take about 3 seconds to steal the whole bag off the bike...seems like a big flaw, did i miss something? is there a way to "lock it onto" the bike?

    • @BikerBits
      @BikerBits  10 років тому

      You can use a universal locking strap to lock the whole bag down if you want to. My thoughts are to stop the opportunists grabbing a camera or something out of the bag. Cheers... Mark

    • @MadShepard
      @MadShepard 10 років тому

      Biker Bits cool thank you, I'm just sayin...it would take longer to open a pocket than it would to take the whole thing so seems like a universal locking strap should come with it then ;) gunna pick one up i think :) thank you

    That's a lot of kit mate, ever heard of VWbus,you would be better with one of them, thin kit out lighten up your gear and the bike, all you need is a bitch on the back and some greenbacks. happy ridin.
