The London under ground jubilee line trains sound very nice as well nice hearing the sound of there motors every time I use them very similar to this.

NYC subway stations are old and dirty, the city is expensive, and it must be difficult to live there in the winter (especially Staten Island.) Never-the-less, NYC is the best city to visit in the US...

As a New Yorker when I went to my mom’s job to Times Square, this is my most used line I go to. I really miss my hometown
Bitter Bronx resident: they took the train models we had and gave them to the 7 line (seen in the video) and they gave the 6 line the much older trains that ran on the 7 even though the older trains break down more (think no AC wagons in the summer) on the more crowded 6 line!

Those trains from the 8s are shiny the ones we have here are little bit less but on the Rockets they're shiny too:)

The stations look a bit tired and needing refurbishment but the trains look amazing, especially compared to how they were in the 70s and 80s with all the graffiti.

Interesting...you managed to capture a New Lots-bound 3 train at this hour? Either you caught one of the last trips of the night for that section of the 3 line, or there was construction going on elsewhere, prompting the need for overnight 3 service to/from Brooklyn.

Everyone is talking mad shit about NY trains, NY trains are the heart of the bigcity. No one needs them to be luxurious. As long as it takes you from point A to Z (which it can do). Plus with the millions of tourists/locals/visitors/etc. Its kind of hard to keep up a brand new look, when its the oldest public transportation in the US.

Me and my second family was at this station (not New York) and the train stopped so fast that one of the sparks landed on me and I got shocked but I was ok

The subway in new york hasn't been upgraded at all compared to the london underground just looks dirty and spooky
They have renovated many stations, but they still have a lot of work to do.

+halofandude123Studio Yep, they do!! They're almost the same... as Alstom, who refurb the MARTA trains and I believe did the propulsion system on the newer Breda MARTA cars also did some of the R160s and R188s of the NYC trains. That's why for them you may see the same R188 train car but one train may sound different from the other, as there are two different propulsion motors they use. The other sound I don't like very much lol.

The class 800, 385 and 802 and 801 Hitachi trains sound similar to the r188 trains, but 1 sound higher than this.

The "L" Line still has motormen and conductors. There was talk about converting it to part or full automatic operation. It is practically a straight line from Manhattan to Canarsie. The unions blew up the plan by fear-mongering the consequences of trains with no MTA personnel aboard. The only thing they did to the "L" Line was modernize the signal system (I think).
The L line be having trains come into a station while another train is halfway out the same station. I’d say those signal improvements worked a little too well😂
