Okay, it's about time we finally do an updated all subway routes video. Unlike the previous ones, I will include ALL subway lines. A through Z, 1 through 7, shuttles, and SIR. Grab some popcorn and sit down because THIS is going to be a long one guys!

I see this is going to forever be a problem so let me pin this comment.
I am fully aware that this says "Franklin Street" instead of "Franklin Avenue" and I know that is incorrect. At the time of uploading, I already reposted this video like 3 times, so I didn't want to do it again again. Thus, I left it in. I didn't think it would be *_that_* much of an issue. I'm sure the locals know it is a mistake and folks from out of town aren't depending on this video to know whether it's street or avenue.
I am going to redo this video at some point anyway. Needs to include more modern equipment like the R211 and R211T and soon the R211S.

Thanks for the show. The last train on the list was my introduction to the New York Subway: the 7 line way back in 1965! For a kid who grew up riding streetcars in Pittsburgh, PA, the subways of the Big Apple have always been a treat! From fan trips on the R-1/9's to the Redbirds that once ran on the 2, 5, 6, and 7 to the now retired Brightliners, the R-32's and another silver fleet that preceded them in retirement, the R-38's and then the R-42's in 2020, I've been on most of them. Can't forget a brief fling on the SIR! In due time, the R-211's will make their debut. I've seen fan videos on UA-cam where the first new train arrived on the system. This video brought back a lot of memories and I hope to make more memories in the future. Can't wait for the transit museum to reopen again!

I used to love riding the subway when I was a kid and now watching the videos I see that it has changed alot over the years since I moved from up there as a kid. The last time I rode the subway was in 2000 when I went back to New York to visit. Riding the subway was fun. I miss the subway alot .

I Can See An Bombardier R179 NIS & A (A) Train While Ago When I was in kindergarten I saw an Alstom R160A NIS Train In York St

Some MNRR and LIRR trains don't display the route they're on, so it would be impossible to do that one because yanno... how can ya tell, unless every shot was at the end of each line lol

Lol so just a video of a train per railroad? Lol that would be a little odd tbh. I feel like a better approach would be to make a video dedicated to shared equipment on both railroads, like the M7

@@youminholastransit3218 I've done videos on MNRR, LIRR, and SIR before lol. I thought you were saying you wanted to see THIS video, but the railroad version lol I have quite a few videos uploaded. 125 St, Fordham, Woodside, to name a few.

Hey Dash I was thinking of Going to NYC and Staten Island Where’s The Best Spot to Catch The Trains Thanks!
I would say if you're going to Staten Island, the best bet would be Eltingville, because of the many transferring bus lines that come there. In queens, Try queensboro plaza on the 7, N and W as they offer some interesting scenes as well.
Smith + 9th Sts is a good spot for trains and scenery since it's tje highest station in the system.
Next after the letters, are the numbers.

Why is there no subway line from LaGuardia airport to JFK in a direct line?
NIMBY's in Astoria, Queens (Not In My Back Yard) is the reason why LaGuardia does not have one.
JFK? Well city planners thought that having the A train from Howard Beach, Queens and E, J & Z trains from Jamaica, Queens be linked up with the JFK Air Train from their stations was the way to go.

The NYC subway system is so nostalgic, historical and dear. It is a shame that it has been ruined by Democrats who have allowed criminals to terrorize the system. Bail reform has empowered them with no fear of consequence. As a child I loved the trains. Today I completely stay away.
