Hello! I’m enjoying your channel and watching how proficient you are as a teacher. Thank you for your awesome videos. I was wondering if you have any for knee replacement?

Hey Christina, thank you so much! I'm thrilled you love my videos. I don't do anything specific on knee replacements. On my flashcards I do highlight if an exercise might not be appropriate for knee issues. But that is the only thing that I do offer that focuses on anything with knee issues.

Hi, Lesley! Would you recommend little pauses between different positions of foots when we do footwork?

ideally no. But, when someone is new and learning yes you can do Toes then when the carriage is closed step one foot at a time to arches etc. But, eventually like all Pilates exercises you want to keep the transition and minimize the breaks. The reason is that each exercise prepares us for the next. If we start and stop we are always having to re-discover the connections. xx~LL

Hi Leslie! Thank you for this! What advice would you give to a teacher who is teaching at a modern studio, where it seems like people just want a leg burn and aren’t necessarily focused on all of the details?

drop them down to one light spring and let them feel how they need to use their full body. And they'll love how they feel their core and Thass® more

Can you speak to the heel connection during arches on? I've been told that my heels and big toes should stay together, but if I do that my knees have to open up.

hey Amber, omg what a rule most of us will not be able to do lol! Between knee, thigh, calf sizes AND what big toes do .... focus on your feet and legs being parallel and as close together as your body allows. If needed grab a small squishy ball to hug between the ankles. hope this helps!

you're not alone. sounds like your springs might be too heavy for you right now, and that you're using the legs more than the whole body. Try with 1 spring for a bit and get the feeling you're moving from your entire center. Then work your way up to 3 or 4 springs depending on your body
