I never even heard of Ronnie before I saw him open for A7X last year and then I heard how people don't like him..then he performed and I was like...so what's the problem?? He's great at what he does. I've become a fan of him as a person AND his band after making my own decision about him.

I'm 34 and never been to a single concert or live band show in my life but Ronald got me hooked and since then (5 weeks ago maybe) ive been hooked and then with the tour coming to the UK, it was too much of a opportunity to let it go to waste as who knows when they would return. I've been teaching my daughter to head bang in preparation 🤣

I am the complete opposite. I don’t get the appeal of Falling In Reverse’s music but I’d support Ronnie just for his showmanship and drive.
There is indeed a lot of drama. Some true and deserved, but a lot of BS. As a musician, I respect him for what he has done over the course of his career!

@@Jinxonegtactually you might want to listen to more rock/Metal in general and realise that artists before 2000s had a lot more freedom with their expression and lyrical content and the spectrum of politics on which artists fell under used to be broader, although still usually leaning liberal but this is not the same as modern day "woke" nonsense. It also makes a lot of sense these bands would have liberal sensibilities as the world was coming out of the 60s and lyrically they would have been able to connect to a young progressive audience. There used to be a lot more people in rock and roll like Ronnie but people are too scared now to voice how they really feel because they will be judged by people in UA-cam comments like yourself.
@@shazg567 Maybe in some genres but especially in Punk, it had a lot of the very same messages said today that is considered radical left or anarchist. The "woke nonsense" y'all claim isn't new only that the focal point changed to different targets such as overall LGBT rights to now Trans rights because the opposition chooses to target those very people to attack. There has always been anti-war, anti-racism, anti- capitalistic government, pro human rights lyrics in the music. The bands that expressed racist or bigoted views have always been called out because by in large the metal community was against this. Just because there has always been a group of "anti-wokes" doesn't mean the music was ever not woke or progressive by standards of especially today's ridiculous political spectrum.
As a fan of Ronnie even from the ETF era, the fact that he finally reach Europe is insane! I'm in Portugal and had no way of knowing if I was available to fly to the UK but it still made me happy that he's big enough to start coming. Maybe one day I will see them live

Im sure they have been big enough. When you become a felon they take your passport away and reciving countries usually have laws that ban people with certain crimes from getting a visa. He had a violent felony so it took a while to get the passport back and the county to allow him to enter

I’m 50 years old and the 90’s were my time for music. I seen the mighty Pantera close to 20 times, along with many bands in tiny clubs like Slipknot, Korn (3times), Foo Fighters, Tool, along with others that became huge. While most of my friends my age would never even give newer metal bands a shot, I absolute love Slaughter to Prevail. If it’s super heavy and sounds good, I’m going to like it! So much ignorance in the world, now maybe I’ll give Falling in Reverse a listen!
I am 65 and just discovered Falling in Reverse last year. Saw them in a medium size venue when they opened for Disturbed. Great show!! My 34 year old daughter went with me. Now she's a fan.

Plenty of talented musicians have peaked and the best days of their career are well behind them. He's playing a 3,200 seat venue in my city, not bad at all, but what comes up must go down and I don't see the staying power.

I don’t know anything about Falling In Reverse or Ronnie Radke. But I do enjoy when he talks. He can make sense and I hate to admit when he has a point. Kind of like Bill Maher. I never liked watching him but I have heard him talk and I can find myself agreeing with his point sometimes.
Its the streisand effect. People are saying to hate Ronnie for not being a flaming liberal, so people look him up and see he is not a super conservative like they claim.
I like that Ronnie says what he thinks and I think everyone needs more friends like Alex.
i've never really been a hater or fan of radke. i didn't even know who he was till like a year ago, but one thing i've noticed is he does seem to boast a lot and enjoys rubbing it peoples faces just how successful his band is, and doesn't take any type of criticism well at all. literally any type of criticism seems to send him into a tirade of just bragging and boasting and then starts insulting people and makes it personal, when there was nothing personal about the criticism in the first place. just an observation

There's a weird social phenomena where people goes into a hate bandwagon because it's popular. Most of these people don't really know why they hate this person. I remember back in the early 2000, I started to listen to metal and everyone ''hated'' that one band (I forgot which one) because every one said so, but no one could really explain why... Such a weird phenomena.
Everybody hated Nickleback, but they sure did sell a bunch of albums.
Hollywood undead is pretty big overseas too. Its a stacked line up and all the attention juat gets more eyes on what they're doing.

Aside all that, amazing video, Ronnie is an amazing, hardworking, honest, down to earth human and from the little I've seen, so are you! We need more people like you guys in this world.

The moment I heard Falling in Reverse AND Slaughter To Prevail were going to do a show in the UK I, and plenty of other people, jumped on it immediately. Unfortunately even though I joined the waiting room for the London show 15 minutes before all of the sale types (Artist presale, Live Native presale and General sale), I wasn't fast enough to get tickets apparently. However, I managed to snap up a couple of Cardiff tickets instead which I think will be better since the stage is smaller and there will be less people in comparison to London.
As a brit, I adore both bands and am super excited, I hope more US-based metal bands will come to the UK more often.

I'm not into metal/deathcore outside of Darko US but I back FIR based upon honesty.
I'm 72 yo and started going to their shows about 10 years ago taking my daughter. Small venues like House of Blues and State Theater. I remember being so thankful that R&R lives on into the next generations. Appreciate them and enjoyed every show.
I don’t know why people hate him. He’s pretty down to earth and badass as celebrities go. Cousins saw him live and got to meet him after the show and said he was nothing but respectful to his fans and took time to meet everyone that was there. Said he actually felt like he was appreciated compared to other rock stars he has met.

In my opinion, people aren't happy about how honest Ronnie is because so many people now don't know how to be offended and move on, they need everyone to agree with them and cater to their feelings. They ignore that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's not a bad thing inherently.

Saw Slaughter to Prevail for the first time at download festival this past weekend and they but on such a good set. Also Jack Simmons family were at side stage, they must have been so proud of him, first time performing at download and already on second stage. 🤘

Ronnie is definitely following his lead by surrounding himself with talented people and is so successful that haters and jealous people can only talk about his past or rumors that they heard about him. When I first hear FIR I was not a fan, I came across them waaaaaay back and they had that Emo thing going on. Over the years though Ronnie and FIR have won me over, especially within the past 2 years.
