They imprinted on poor George, the reluctant substitute "mama" duck. Imprinting is so powerful they will always see George as the "mama" duck. Imprinting takes place very early in an animal's life.You can Google Imprinting (Psychology) for an article on Wikipedia. They are trying hard to imitate whatever George does!
Oh I know what happened here. The mother duck has been hounding this dog for weeks because he owes back child support. So she just sent the baby ducks after him to pressure him for support. And he's running away because he knows he didn't father them baby ducks... look at them. Saw this on Maury a while back, so this must be an update after the show.
