They can't because he is using footage with copyright, that is why he put in the last frame of the video he is not using that for comercial purpose, otherwise he would be sued.
I just heard an interview with this guy on CBC's radio show "As it Happens" --- he did sell the vehicle... to a local who had never seen this video!!! But he had received offers from all over the world 🌎👍
Ho-Lee Chit damn those Peugeot are awesome as well, however this Vitara ads were done and edited by 2 persons only, and those Peugeot ads were done by CG team. All are great
Zachary Morgan True story. Just look up the modern style fan re-edits of the Star Wars prequels. They make them AMAZING. And then you remember that marketing is the devil and your childhood was NEVER as cool as you remember it being. So you drink and re-watch the fan edits. And all is well.
What actually made this ad really good is the fact that it is an old and used car, "one of a kind" so to speak, that is being sold. Someone saw the effort to advertise his old car in a way barely no other person does. Mostly people sell their old stuff for example in Facebook with one photo and some describing text. When you think of it it, this ad is really similar to any other ads you see on TV selling brand new cars -- full of adventure and excitement. If you replaced this car with a new one, it wouldn't be as amazing as it is now. + It's personal to the seller.
This video chokes me up. I'm incredibly fond of these cars. Few believe me when I preach their greatness. But for a man to go through this incredible effort, goes to show there is a fan base with deep love for these machines. Long live the compact 4x4, long live the 1st gen Vitara.
МОЛОДЕЦ с большой буквы. Профессионалы в области рекламы такого не делают. Сочетание воображения и цель- продать машину сделали свое дело на пять с плюсом. Обязательно обращусь когда решу продать свое авто.
We have had our 2002 Suzuki XL7 for 15 great years, and I am sure it can do all of this and more. I put gas in it and sometimes change the oil. It gets driven more than any of our other cars (Tesla-SigX-Ludicrous, Porsche, Lexus). It was there for me when I was a broke student and could not afford to pay the sticker price for a car or even the mechanics' cost for basic service. I love it because it is awesome, costs nothing, and has never stranded us (outliving our: BMW-X, Audi, Mercedes). I love it because other people hate it so much. I love it more after seeing Eugene Romanovsky's epic tribute. IMO he could not have picked a more deserving vehicle for his masterpiece and work of art. I'm thinking he must love his Suzuki too.
You may not realize this, but this is some intelligent commentary on how products are sold nowadays. Companies spend billions in marketing to sell a product that is barely functional. Because company RnD and production budgets are slashed over and over in the name of "lean" manufacturing, and to have a more robust marketing budget.
TheAnesthetics You've got a very good analysis, I think few people have thought the same as you, And probably its the real intention of that. Otherwise an ad like this must cost more than the car worth itself. rs
That and they create something so ridiculous and sensational that it goes viral and it spreads to venues far beyond where it was initially released. So you spend $500 on a video which you release on youtube and it attracts so much attention that dozens of news stations and tens of thousands of people share your video and you've just got hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of advertising for a minor fraction of the price.
TheAnesthetics And i add more, its just to pause the last frame of the "ad" and everyone will realize that its just a joke and a polite one, cause he mentions every source and says that it can be removed if asked.
Completely appropriate question (one you would have definitely asked in person, I'm sure, cause you're not the type to just say shit cause you're in the Internet). -.-
I swear, after watching this ad (it actually brought a tear to my eye!) I have no need for a 1996 Suzuki Vitara but I almost want it! I can't help but think it cost more in this man's time to make the video than the little "beast" is worth but I agree Suzuki should buy this ad from Eugene. :)
As an owner of a 91 Suzuki Sidekick, hell yeah these cars can go through all that abuse. This thing was first owned by a member of the Utah 4x4 club, and it went through the Moab. Many times. I am the 4th owner. When I popped the hood and checked the internals, I learned that this thing was composed largely off zipties and "quick fixes". My clutch cable, when it finally gave, was composed of a tuning fork with a screw driven through it. Don't get me started on the "battery mount" or the coolant lines... ...Well, 26 years later, it's still here. 2" lift kit with oversize tires and everything.
Lol that ad revenue from this video will probably earn more than what he gets from selling the car XD. However, the car is famous now, so he could probably fetch a heap on auction!
greetings from afriac... i have died and left my estate to you. please mail the aquisition check of $1,000,000 to my residence and I will forward car to your new mansion
This is honestly the best ad I've ever seen
how did you get 21,687,875 views on your comment!!?
YEAH RIGHT I WISH!!! 1:09 ahahah!!!awesome!!!
21,687,875 views fake. jejeje
Jason Bourney He did put his name with that amount and views. If you change your name for numbers is exactly the same.
It may trump Tim's Aries commercial.
Haters will say its photoshopped.
haters.....
@imwalk worse I totally sanction your buffoonery. Big Grin.
its actually edited with after effect not photoshop so..
adobe's adobe's adobe's....
Each individual frame
Suzuki should buy this advertisement from him
They can't because he is using footage with copyright, that is why he put in the last frame of the video he is not using that for comercial purpose, otherwise he would be sued.
Well, he is selling the car..... isn't that comercial purpose?
That's a private sale, not commercial.
it's not expected to make profit when selling a used car. However, he'll probably sell to some rich dude for an insane amount of money now
Or simply hire him to make the ad for the next generation of Vitara.
This is the most epic thing in the entire history of people telling lies to sell stuff.
you right, and also...... Donald Trump
Rent free
Well if you've ever owned one of these vehicles you will know that no lies were told here at all! These things are legend.
Possibly the most important video of 2017 so far.
It's no important videos though.
TVR Cerbera love your name, love that car.
MrCargod05 Not sure if you like JDM cars, but I own an 87 toyota AE86.
+rallyfan101 not sure if u love JDM cars but I own a 2001 nissan micra
Jungles Bongles not sure if u love JDM cars but I own a 2002 hyundai accent
I just heard an interview with this guy on CBC's radio show "As it Happens" --- he did sell the vehicle... to a local who had never seen this video!!! But he had received offers from all over the world 🌎👍
I think he might regret selling it locally, now that it is a "movie prop" it could have sold for probably 10x times its real value :)
Lol! Awesome!
This shit is epic!!!
Better than 99.999% of all car commercials combined.
Damn, you're gonna get hired in the speed of light with this vid
Is this the next Fast and Furious Trailer?
vicesat jajaja que haces aqui xD
he didn't say "Family" so no
Así deberías vender tu Mazda.
vicesat ya les gustaría shur, este es un crack de la animación
Yes, now showing advanced screenings of the long awaited low budget sequel to "The Fast & The Furious" franchise: "The Slow & The Spurious"
This commercial is worth more then the car.
He should sell it to Suzuki :D
Then what after that?
than*
Wrong. Then is correct.
No it's not.
Wow, a billion times better than ANY car ad I've seen in recent memory
Graveyard Shift Talk Show

peugeot ads are great
Amr Atef okay, yeah I just saw those ads, they ARE great, you're right!
Ho-Lee Chit damn those Peugeot are awesome as well, however this Vitara ads were done and edited by 2 persons only, and those Peugeot ads were done by CG team. All are great

If leonardo dicaprio ask you to sell a pen, *THIS* is exactly how you sell a pen.
But its a car...
is it a car though?
It's a transporter for dreams
you need a pen to sign some papers when buying suzuki.
I've got a pen. I've got an apple. PPAP won't work?
The cost of this production is more than the car worth
A.TWorldChannel nope he use other footage and blend his car in it
But, it is really awesome
that is easily made with just movie clips and after effects
A.TWorldChannel no he earns it back with the 6 milian views
Yeah this is world class !!! Brand car makets would pay 100 times more than the cat worth
Respect for Mr Romanovsky and Suzuki Vitara 96 from human planet crazies . We can go to Mars now.
Hello,
I am Brazilian, but if I lived in your country I would buy your car!
Sensational! Congratulations!
Proof that good editing can sell anything

The ad was so good that seeing the tag "Automatic Windows" near the end gave me goosebumps.
This shit needs to go viral

куда ты обратишься? ролик будет стоить дороже авто)))
A job well done!
Это здорово, когда человек умеет что-то делать, и это можно донести.
Cool graphics. What is the release date for this game?
Bleach Pls 1996

I was about to ask why with was on trending but then I saw the video...
This commercial must be one of the best EVER (I repeat) EVER made. Period!!!

TheAnesthetics Well... capitalism mate. That's how it works.
This was great. Thanks for making this Eugene. I loved it.
But does it have cup holders
Gabby the most important question
How about your cup holders? They packin' huh? :D
This shouldn't have made me laugh that hard
Completely appropriate question (one you would have definitely asked in person, I'm sure, cause you're not the type to just say shit cause you're in the Internet). -.-
I have a Suzuki Splash at the moment...... it has no cup holders
Dude. You're a genius! Congrats my friend, this is awesome.
самое крутое видео которое я видел за этот год...
Try to not to use russian!
почему?/why?
Потому что, так надо. \Because, so it is necessary.
Hello! My name is Lauren and I'm a producer at WGN in Chicago. Can we have permission to air your video? Thanks!
Lauren Miholic yes if you want
But show the whole video, the man needs some publicity lol
should have made sure you got credits for it though dont be a sucker!
The editing is fucking amazing!!
За ролик такого уровня в Голливуде платят больше чем стоит иной суперкар, не то что обычная Витара! Автор! Ты крут неимоверно!
The best personal ad for selling a car ever! Well done
wow that was epic now I want a Suzuki
Eugene, You and that truck are simply awesome. Thanks , but I have one. In fact I have had five of them.
Thanks , Mike
Best advertisement video I have ever seen, guys at auto dealerships would kill to have that kind of advertisement, what software did you use for this?
I'm pretty sure all of this could be achieved with Adobe After Effects.
Likely After Effects with some 3D program for models. Cinema4D perhaps? Or a plug-in like Element3D.
Element for sure. He seems to be a Video Copilot fan. he used a shockwave from their pack
it's all just MS Paint

Suzuki should buy back your car, capitalize on good marketing, reform your car and give it back to you
WOW! This guy is really putting in the work to sell this vehicle. :) BRAVO!
Awesome! How long did it take to make this video?
hold on, internet explorer is loading
I'm so inspired by this to create an epic ad for my next craigslist post. You raised the bar, dude.
Lol that ad revenue from this video will probably earn more than what he gets from selling the car XD. However, the car is famous now, so he could probably fetch a heap on auction!
Настоящий уровень рекламы! СУПЕР!!!
That was amazing!
Oh my god this is amazing. Absolutely amazing work. That's how you sell something right there.

Евгений, это круто! Смотрится на одном дыхании. Сделай продолжение!
This was absolutely excellent. If real car commercials were done this well they'd have more sales. Superb editing.
Some idiot will see this and buy it right away, only to go driving in the mountains and die.

Просто.Мурашки.По.Коже. ТОП!
Вообще по хорошему, компания Сузуки должна автору за рекламу, отстегнуть.
Please make a sequel using the new vitara. Great Ad!
