Awesome overview, thank you. I am thinking about one of these for the same reasons you said - establishing more of a groove and feel, but also to inspire new riffs from different beats and tempos (I'm also a drummer, even more so than a guitarist). I have 2 questions: 1. Is it 4/4 only? 2. Thoughts on the quantized "feel" of it? I don't need all the crazy features of the other one, nor need to spend $300 or $400 on something like this. But, I'm concerned that the BBM2 is too rigid and mechanical and I really would prefer the option of different time signatures. Thanks!
Thank you for watching! In the video I do show that you can change the time signature, so it’s flexible that way. If you’re talking about “swing”, it’s somewhat mechanical. Sort of like a metronome, it wants to keep time. For me, it’s great practice and writing tool. Maybe not for final mixes, but pretty great and worth the money.
@@globalnova I can't remember, but I think that I either demo'd it, or at least talked about it. Yes, you can pick the tempo / time signature. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Yea, might not be the best for live. Have you tried the full sized beat buddy? Curious if that’d be decent for live performances. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
You can run it in your signal chain (pedal board etc), but it’s much nicer through something separate as you have more control and of course separation. And yes…in my experience, guitarists typically have multiple amps and guitars because we like shiny new things 😂 Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Dope review!! Beatbuddy is sick, love their UX philosophy and appreciate the detailed overview on V2 🤘
Thank you Chaos! 💯🎸
Exactly what I was looking for! Thanks!
Absolutely! I love it myself. Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
Great job!!
Thank you so much!

@@VaporTrailChannel didn’t see any time signature change in this either.

OK for home practice.. Not for performance cuz no sequential memory for the patterns for your live set. Sounds are nominal.

just connect it to a separate amp.. do guitar players have multiple amps??

It’s sexy, right? 😆 Thanks for watching! 😃👍🏻
