Im throwing the 78u on house shots 2x a week and im loving it. First time throwing urethane and im not disappointed or ashamed
I’m just curious as to why you throw it on the house shot? What advantage do you feel you gain?
@@ScottAndersonBowling I’m still fairly new to the game. Been bowling a year and I feel like it’s the most controlled ball I ever thrown. Also helping me get more comfortable playing straighter.
I also been bowling 15-20 pins over my average the last 2 weeks since throwing it so ima keep throwing it
@@tsquad7 keep doing what helps you the best! I might just look into some reactive at some point as it’s more conducive to success on transition than urethane would be.
I am considering buying a 78U. I am wondering, what is your pin placement? I feel like pin up will help it finish in the pocket.

What ball would you recommend on low volume/high friction lanes as a higher rev bowler? Would the 78u be a viable option?
Definitely something with a higher RG and medium to low diff, like a Hyroad.

I throw a urethane ball. It doesn’t hook very much. I am at the number two arrow and I don’t get much of a hook and then when I throw reactive ball at the number arrow or the number four I get very good reaction in a hook. am I doing something wrong with the urethane please let me know. Thank you so much. I appreciate your.
Urethane isn’t really meant for a house shot to be honest. Urethane needs a lot of oil to be effective. So if you’re throwing it to the dry part of the lane, it’s going to look like it isn’t doing anything but quitting on the back part of the lane.
In this video I’m on a short oil pattern with a lot of oil outside that I’m trying to use.
Thank you. I have two Storm reactive balls given to me by my high school friend Randy Peterson that I’ve known for over 30 years and they really do very well. I usually aim for the second arrow or the fourth dot and it reacts really well. I don’t think I do too well with the urethane ball though thank you so much for your reply and I really enjoy your teachlessons best to you always

What is the difference between this ball and the IQ Ruby?
There are two totally different materials. The IQ Ruby is a pearl reactive resin ball and this ball is a solid urethane ball. They are made for two completely different scenarios. The only thing they have in common is the core.
How many is that?
