Great! You're back. Love your modest, unpretentious way of sharing your walks. Partly encouraged by you, my bf and I started collecting Nuttalls in 2022 and should be halfway through Wales by Xmas. Completed Glyderau yesterday, stunning day at last. Cheers Spence ♥️
Wonderful Winter Video! I remember hiking the Tryfan Ridge many years ago & the summit Adam & Eve Rocks! Thanks for filming & sharing! Great personal memories!
What a Joy yet again.Many years since I did Tryfan North, probably my equal favourite with Crib Goch as a chosen N.Wales walk. Use to love it in those conditions, did it numerous times but do remember the multitude of route choses on the way up, never straight forward but always interesting. Certainly not the day to take the Adam and Eve " freedom of the mountain" step. Love the honesty of your videos please keep them coming, greatly appreciated.
Great video as always - thanks for posting. Fair play to you for attempting North Tower in those conditions, sound and calm decision making great to see. All the best.
Amazing stuff, Spencer. I definitely want to do this but not in those conditions, looks great though. A real lesson in keeping your head and not panicking I reckon.
Well done mate, you've backed down from the North Tower which is hard on a good day leave alone in slippery conditions. Best decision. Fantastic conditions 👍
Nice one Spencer great video, not done Tryfan yet but some of those icey rocks looked a bit dicey think I’ll save that one for the better weather lol, great to see you back out again 👍👌
I turned back at exactly the same point you did on Saturday. Just didn't trust the footing especially with the rock glazing. I also had trial shoes on. Can't wait for the snow to drop :)
Great to see you back out in the Oggy mate👌looked a challenging day. I was up Moel Hebog today and the paths were really icy. Some snow at the top, great to see in November. Hope you get to do more from now mate😎
Cheers Warren. Yes, it was a tough day, but really enjoyed it. I haven't been up Moel Hebog for a few years, great views from up there. I'm hoping to get out in the next couple of weeks. 👍
Well I walked to the post office to pick up an Amazon parcel today and wondered if I’d make it back in one piece. I do enjoy your videos Spencer but at times I cant help thinking you’re as mad as a box of frogs to be doing that in this weather.
@@OutandaboutwithSpencer …good question, I got this off the internet: “However there's also speculation the phrase originates from a group of German explorers who, whilst in the Amazon, attempted to collect and collate data on poisonous frogs. Obviously, they kept them in a box and it was rumoured that one of the scientists was poisoned and went a bit loopy as the toxin wore off.” Can’t remember where I heard it first, but it makes me laugh 😁.
Great video mate , looked very challenging in that snow, I assume it was fresh fall? As I was surprised you did it without crampons- fair play Snow capped peak views were amazing. I’d love to do that north ridge one day , definitely on the list , you’ll have to guide me up there one day lol Best wishes
Cheers mate, yes, it was soft snow, but icy in places. I backed down a few times because of the ice, and found safer ways up. Anytime you fancy a walk, let me know. 👍
Sounds great , it strikes me there are multiple little routes and ways you can negotiate to the top via the north face , some safe and easier and some that could lead you cragfast! Very sensible to descend if unsure! I’ll definitely be up for it in the new year when I’m up that way again. Haven’t been out in ages actually been unwell with constant chesty viruses which have knocked me out. Can’t wait to get out again . Take care mate
It has been a few years since i did the North Ridge , yes it is the hardest route with plenty of scrambling , next time give the Heather Terrace route a go , much easier
I've used the heather terrace to get to little and North gullies. That's another tough one though. I'm sure it's about time you got back to the Oggy! I watched all your Snowdonia videos when I started walking around there. 👍

Aww thank you and well done. A great day for the glyderau yesterday wasn’t it? ATB, Spencer

Thank you, it's certainly right up there with the best routes. I'm too chicken to jump Adam and Eve in any conditions! I appreciate your comments 👍
Great video as always - thanks for posting. Fair play to you for attempting North Tower in those conditions, sound and calm decision making great to see. All the best.
Thanks, I always try to keep it real. I've seen too many people get in trouble after watching social media and thinking its easy. 👍
Great vid mate winter views always seem to look so clear 👍
Thanks Dave, yes, a bit of snow always seems to make a difference. I’m back out next Friday with Koos, so hopefully there will be more winter views. 👍
Great to see you back….certainly put me on the edge of the sofa a few times mate
Thanks, a few dodgy moments on that one 😬 👍
Amazing stuff, Spencer. I definitely want to do this but not in those conditions, looks great though. A real lesson in keeping your head and not panicking I reckon.
Thanks, it's a great route, but is a lot easier in dry conditions. 👍
Nice video Spencer. Wishing you a great weekend 😊
Thank you, you too 👍

Thanks mate, always better to back down than get stuck!! 😀 it was great to get out again 👍
@OutandaboutwithSpencer absolutely mate, any doubt back off. Great to see you out again 😀 👍

Yeah, it's just not worth the risk if you're not feeling comfortable. Still a great day though, hopefully a good winter to come. 👍
Done this Tuesday 10th time this year , had a few moments like very slippery. Great vid enjoyed every minute
Thanks 👍 but have you managed to do the exact same route twice? 😄👍
@OutandaboutwithSpencer never 😂Tuesday was a scary one slippery abit like your vid but not as bad😂
@stek2190 😄 I thought so, it's like a maze up there...😄👍
@@OutandaboutwithSpencer definitely is .keep up the good work 👊

@peterclarke3619 😂😂 but I’ve got to ask…why is a box of frogs mad? 😂😂
