neat trailer, but the framerate during the rex fight on the rex looks.. really wonky. Like its playing at 10 or less frames while the rest of the dinos are at a more standard framerate, whats up with that?
Because it was likely rushed animations just for the trailer, it's not something that exists in-game. Not that they pointed that out anywhere, though.
Because these combat moves don't actually exist in the game yet and were probably made for this trailer alone, it's false advertisement.
Also worth noting that the red rex at 0:38 literally t poses after its animation ends. Whole trailer was rushed to hell to imply the addition of mechanics we didn’t get :/

I’m glad that the devs are working hard to fix the server issue console players are facing right now. It makes me happy knowing the devs truly care for the enjoyment of everyone who plays their game.

And i was waiting over 3 years to play the game, but maybe everything is fine tomorow and i was just to hyped for the day that this was just ruining my day.

Would be nice if in the future Spino could be updated to reflect the recent updates. Also love the trailer even though I bet irl the Rex would’ve given up on killing the adult Triceratops. And the baby probably would’ve died without a mom

@@urbanmoony7154 rex is pretty easily accurately portrayed now a days. Since we got ao many of them, so not only spino, if anything a spino is probably the most hypothetical, since most bones are fragmentary and it borrows a LOT from its distant relatives

Some animations may look a bit off since there are no such attack animations in-game and they obviously made them for the trailer specifically. I would try to avoid it nevertheless since not everyone is aware of how it works and it may missrepresent the pvp aspect of this game. Anyway, great update and finally some new cool dino game for console players!

Tbh those choppy clips are weird and tbh the trex looks great but i was expecting it to be a bit thicker and its head not look so close to the dasps head and its walk animation looks a bit phased out like its freezing per step ik there gonna be fixing alot of stuff with it and once its fixed its gonna be a gorgeous terrifying animal to play as.

Why the t rex moves at 15 lmao
It's really unfortunate how misleading so much of this is. There's no combat physics, if you couldn't tell by the stop-motion animation. You can't nest. There are no grabs or grapples. Sarco cannot grab or jump out of water. However... All of the models and dinosaurs and skins ARE in the game. Just don't expect to see anything you saw here actually play out the way it did. You're not gonna find a lake with 50 herbies standing around it, and if you did, you wouldn't try to kill one. You'd be dead before you realized you made a mistake.

I mean, that striped, red-headed rex skin isn't even in the game, far as I can see. Their older trailers were miles better than whatever the hell this is. Must think the community is stupid as hell.

I’m so happy that it is coming to the Nintendo switch! I always wanted to play the game fully right off the bat, and now I get even getter graphics! This launch trailer just makes me want to follow the updates and when it will be launched!

Why the hell would you put the game on console when it's broken, I spent majority of my time getting the game going only to have a long ass loading time that was atleast 15 minutes, just for my trial to end, THANK SO MUCH, THANK YOU!!! Now I know not to waste my time and excitement on certain things! I didn't even get to play the goddamn game!
so much false advertising in a trailer, i enjoy PoT a lot, but theres abilities, mechanics and other things that arent even in the game or not even released with this update
Yeah I really wish they had stuck to their other style of trailers where it's just showcasing game footage with a voiceover, most of this video is mechanics that aren't even in with this update.

Needs more AI food, finding food is very difficult! Other then that I've been waiting years for this and I said if it ever came to console I'd be all over it. I know it's in beta but I bought it to help support the game. Congratulations on your new milestone!!!
Agreed! Until there's more players I definitely think more ai food should be added. I spent hours walking as a juvenile and couldn't find food!

I loved everything about this trailer up until the Eo and Rex fight scene. Your trailers are always gorgeous just as in-game footage, and honestly I think you could have sticked to in-game footage for some parts if not the entire trailer
Super excited for this being on consoles. But so far a lot of people are having issues even logging into their account, myself included. But it is beta and bugs are to be expected. Once it is fixed I’ll definitely spend money on it for my Xbox.
Would be nice if the servers weren't being pushed to the limit with all the new players trying to get on

Path of titans gets better and better with more dinosaurs added the trailer is amazing with the baby rexes and eotriceratops fight and the herbivore valley with the sarcosuchus grabbing the struthiomimus and T. rex in the game! I've been waiting for this moment for a long time
i feel bad for whoever was putting this together, because they either didn't receive the time or the support needed to create a quality product. i hope this isn't indicative of the quality of the experience. i bought this game, and i'm gonna experience the updates for myself, but this doesn't make me excited for it. it doesn't make sense to me that you could go from such well curated and narrated trailers to outline the features of an update to what we see here.

Truly disappointed with this update. I think they should focus on the cluster hell of lag in-game already. Why not focus making the game actually playable and fun experience for players?
There's some dinos that don't even have their full diets or abilities (lambeosaurus and of course the new T-rex) and others lack so much more. Lag has been an ongoing issue for so long that its painful. You could add 100 dinos, but what would be the point if most of them have the same playstyle.
Why sell unfinished content + not fixing the bugs & issues that have been going on for months. A new map or dino will only make matters worse.
If they knew about the obvious huge inflow of players trying to log in because of this update, why didn't they prepare before hand? There's console players that have spend their 60minute free trail waiting in the log screen... Wow peak gameplay! :D
Some parts of the trailer look awfully rushed... I wonder why. Audibly laughed at the funky animation. Starting to look like they are 'trying' to steal hype or keep up to another dino game (Evrima), which recently got a skin update.
I've notice that too with the trailer, it looked rushed and kinda look like they copy the idea from the Evima.... Also I agree, there is more to work on already, than work on another dinosaur and a new map. I feel like they are working on more things then needed.... Tho I am glad they did add the rex and the console, but I feel like that's also too soon, like the rex animations look like they still need to be worked on, like the drinking animation. :,)
Would like to see the Sarcosuchus being able to grab animals into the water. All except Spinosaurus, Tyrannosaurus and maybe also Eotriceratops.
Am I the only one who noticed the knock over animations and possible kill animatons?? I'm dying to know if they will become parts of the combat system or if they were just dev mode animations... Super excited regardless!

Herbs are more OP.
They said there going to make the t rex strong but really slow and have quiet footsteps like an elephant. It's going to be the strongest land carnivore but unable to chase down prey

So pretty much the isle. The adult rexes in that game can pretty much one shot most dinos but the trade off is that their stamina is extremely poor which means you HAVE to ambush as opposed to just chasing your prey all day.
@@sentinal_entity Trikes in The Isle were way stronger then rexes but couldn't run them down. In this game, the Trikes have charge which could mean super imba.
@@sentinal_entity for what the devs have been saying your kinda right but what can they do? The trex was an ambush predator with the largest bite force and it very big so it would over heat quickly. There isn’t a lot you can do gameplay wise with such a simple animal you want to keep the bite force high and stamina low and balance around it. They are equivalent to grizzly bears in North America when full grown you don’t want to mess with them.

Sarcosuchis is already in the game, and yes I think it can do what it does in the trailer, just not exactly. It just lunges out of water onto land, not into the air

There likely will be, in general all dinosaurs have subspecies you can select and the devs have been very good about making feathered options for a lot of species.

Did you guys get animators who had experience animating dinosaurs/animals beforehand or did the team work out how to animate these creatures as time went on?
The team only has one animator (Jiggly) so what I imagine happened here is they ran out of time to make the rex actually look good. (Also they did in fact figure out how to animate dinos as time went on)

There are honestly so many more important things they could have been working on tbh. The balance for one, the buggy ass critters that just feel like Isle-level unfinished content slapped in at the last moment despite taking many months to work on it. The game desperately needs more content, like nesting, for example.

Well, if you want to play this game on mobile after this update you can give up on playing the game at all - at least for now. The appstore thinks this update is nonexistent, and it won't let you play the game due to some sort of "unknown login error" 😔

This game needs more skins with simple colors and patterns, I would like to have more simple skins like the dinosaurs from Jurassic Park. The black markings on the eyes to the Rex as if he was a Joker I don't like.
Cool trailer but I will have to say that the animations are really janky...I get that some of them were made just for this trailer alone but it's gonna mislead some new players in to thinking this is how the fighting may work in game, also the nesting at the start, there's no actual nesting in game. I would have personally preferred a trailer that sticks to what we actually see in game, don't get me wrong getting a little creative with some parts is perfectly fine like the sarco scene was absolutely beautiful, but that fight was too janky and too much in my opinion.

Yeah I really wish the trailer had actually included things that were IN the game as opposed to just, showing poorly animated things that people want but aren't added. Not to mention this trailer doesn't match any of their other trailers which show actual gameplay that is in or part of the update.

Thoughts on this game and things I would like too see:
1. Not sure why ppl complain about KOSing. This is a survival game, you know what to expect. Go to a community server if you don't want that. Without players that KOS, this game would be very dull. It is what gives tension to the game. I never know if the Dino that walks up is going to try and kill me or not, and I love that. Not everybody needs to lay a glove down and formally challenge to a duel, that is lame. Thank you to the Carnis playing your role, you give me some good scares, fights, and chases.
2. Mix packing. Doesn't really bother me. Animals in real life do it all the time. From fish who swim with sharks and manta rays for protection, to alligators who let birds pick their teeth clean. That being said, I don't mix pack or KOS, but I don't care if others do. Again that is why there are community servers.
3. Not sure how I feel about them adding flying dinos. I feel like they will be really wonky and hard to balance.
4. Adding dino a.i. is cool, I just don't want them overloading the server so there is a crap more lag and frame loss.
5. I would like heavier thunderstorms and heavier snowfall would be nice. Honestly don't know if it is ash or snow. Snow areas would be cool too, I think there will be snow on the new map though. Fog would be cool too.
6. Probably wishing but an active volcano that periodically erupts on the new map would be amazing.
7. New quests/challenges. Not sure what kind, hopefully you guys or the devs have something interesting that can be implemented. I have ideas but not sure how well they would work.
8. I love this game a lot. My complaint is there is nothing to grind for really. Other than skins. But there are not many of them, and they can only add so many patterns/colors without getting to outlandish for the style they are going for. They have these bundles of credits to buy, but for what? You can't use them for anything. I get it is to support the devs, but might as well ask for donations, because there is nothing to use them on. I don't really see what can be added to the game to grind for or work towards either. Once you are adult that is pretty much it. You either move on to another dino or just PvP, for which there is no reward. I feel like certain future dinos should be unlocked by acquiring a certain amount of trophies instead of money, idk.
But if I had to Buy the game again and everything else. I guess I do it to support the game, I been here since day one. I really happy to see this game reach The dream they had
