@@dtbrex08 How so, thala has literally 1 attack and dies to nothing, same with alio but add in tail attack, allo needs more abilities but its stats are perfect and while its kit is barebones is still solid

Allosaurus, one of the most loved dinosaurs by the public and by far the most hated dinosaur by the devs.
Just because it hasn’t been updated a whole lot doesn’t mean the devs hate it, iirc its gonna get a grapple ability and the devs are most likely working on it in some way and probably gonna release it when it gets its tlc, which imo is all allo needs other than more UNIQUE abilities, but balance wise its fine.
@dtbrex08 It means the devs hate it. Yes, you just defined what hate is, Allosaurus is as it has been since it came out. Just NOW they decided to add a ridiculous bleed sense that nobody uses, because claw attack is fully pathetic. And in exhange, speed scales/hide were reduced to a 5%. So Allo actually is even worse than usual lol.
I garuntee at this point that allo will get a massive TLC sometime after bars, struthi, lamb, and iggy are finished... we can endure this allo drought a bit longer friend, just stay strong ✊
@@shootsure Sorry but speed hide was never usable and if you think claw attack is bad when it's one of the attacks that apply most bleed of the game per hit so you don't use the bleed sense sorry but is nothing but skill issue on your side
@2Vinter2 Speed hide was 100% usable. You was faster than a Pycno and even faster than some chickens. Everybody who knows would use that extra 10% speed...
And who cares about making someone bleed? You are doing more damage by biting 1 time even if you give 4 bleed attacks. That's pointless... seems like you are the one that always had skill issues lol.

Its still pretty quick tho lol and with those abilities its better, its still more agile than hatz and hatz is a ground hunter lol

Its speciality is not being specialized, is a generalist, thats its role lol
which is why most people don't play it. Plus right now its habilities don't help it much.
In my opinion path of Titans is the best dinosaurs game and honestly, the community is amazing and I hope for the best for everyone who works to make path of Titans better

This is another clone of the gameplay of Stego and Kentro, as for me it would be better in its place to be some kind of sauropod or Nodosaur

Microraptor just sounds like so much fun, also please make it semi-accurate and not the weird abomination that it has been depicted as in the past.
It will be semi-accurate. All of their reconstructions are. Some are more accurate than others (Compare rex to the lamb TLC, it's pretty clear the lamb is nearly fully accurate while the rex is just more accurate than average game depictions but still not actually entirely accurate) but they are all at LEAST semi-accurate. The devs put a lot of emphasis on this when designing creatures. Especially when it comes to feathers- they're always sure to place them on the animal properly. So feathered animals like microraptors generally come out looking better than the other creatures in the game.

It probably will. Keep in mind eventually the models we have now will be considered "old". It's new RIGHT NOW, but the game is currently in EARLY ACCESS, so it's actually not even the final build of the game. With that in mind, even newer creatures will probably be considered 'old' eventually and get a TLC.

Just so you guys know, sarcosuchus was actually not a crocodile. Not even a crocodilian, actually. It was a crocodylomorph, which is closely related, but not the same thing.

Love this game and can’t wait for the updates and new playables! But your scaling is all over the place. Eotriceratops, Deinochierus, Barsboldia, Spinosaurus, Allosaurus, and Suchomimus are all too big. And I get that Barsboldia and Eotriceratops aren’t pushovers, but oversizing and overtuning them probably isn’t the way. I didn’t mention the others because their stats are pretty good aside from them being too big. ( Except Allosaurus, he needs a buff please and thank you!) Also a Rex remodel could be cool, I’d use the prehistoric planet Rex as inspiration. These are just some critiques that I feel could make your fantastic game into a spectacular game. Also, anyone who disagrees or wants too expand on what I said, please do! I’d like to see your thoughts!

@amaterasu Path of Titans has mostly accurate designs, when a few don’t have and accurate design, the stand out. This is called design inconsistency. But it does seem they are working on remedying the issue. Just look at the latest tlcs. They look great and accurate.
I wish aquatics had easier access to the mainland, Kai is one of my favorite playables in the game but it’s hard to justify maining it when every other journey to a mildly populated place I get spotted and murdered on sight cause I’m crawling on land, maybe deeper rivers would help so we could jump the waterfalls that are every 5 feet in all the rivers
It would be good if I reconstructed some dinosaurs (scientifically updated aspects), but I did like the new animals that they are going to add later.

They said at some point in the past they are gonna continue after the release for these Dino’s
These Dino’s were just goals they were getting out of the way
Now they said there continue for 5 years or more then leave the rest up to mods to keep the game alive which in my opinion is a interesting way to kill a game
I mean the mods of now are keeping the game alive and it’s not the best I will say
the only thing they mention ab meg is it’s venom which basically does nothing. revert meg back to before gondwa and give it back tail attack 😂

Excited for micro but ngl calling laten a "raptor" on the official account* gave me an ick as it's a troodontid, n that's why it makes sense as the nocturnal hunter as there's evidence (such as the size of their eye sockets compared to durinal species) that supports it in that role irl TnT

"Raptor" is a non-scientific term that can apply to many different things. It can refer to a bird of prey, dinosaurs that were or are generally thought of as thieves (think gigantoraptor or oviraptor,) or to toothed dinosaurs with three toes and a sickle claw. I specify "toothed" because there have been some birds with sickle claws, and I have not seen any people refer to them as raptors before, except when comparing them to dromaeosaurs.
Typically when people talk about raptors they're thinking of dromaeosaurs, but not always. It really depends on who you ask. The rarest usage you'll see is calling 'thieving' (again, most of such dinosaurs probably weren't thieves) dinosaurs "raptors." Generally people just call them their full name instead of shortening it to "raptor" but I have seen it happen a few times.
Anyway, this is an example of why scientific classifications are very helpful. They help to avoid confusion. That said, in this case, it would just be unnecessary to use the scientific terms because "raptor" is basically a game mechanic in PoT. Raptor refers to the class you're playing, basically. It impacts what abilities will and will not work on you. It's easier to have say "raptor class" than to say "dromaeosaur and troodontid class."
@@catpoke9557 While you are correct; it's more about the fact path tries to shoot for accuracy as a base and this was an easy oversight. Most folks don't actually know about the distinction, its a fun fact, lets laten shine more uniquely, and would have been a good opportunity to highlight that instead of diminish it. It bothers me regardless; as path intentionally picked unconventional animals to try and raise awareness about these unique animals. I consider the simplification a tiny lapse in that department...
Eta* and in-game everyone I've personally seen refer to laten calls it a raptor to the point when I've occasionally asked if they knew about laten they actually haven't. I've also read other people share similar experiences so there is some confusion that could have been nicely wrapped up. As an aside I actually woulda loved that class distinction because again it highlights WHY laten's special and nocturnal plus makes the two one slotters more definably unique...
@@Rae-Dae. Maybe they can add more troodontids and separate them from the dromaeosaur class at that point. That would allow them to avoid confusion.
Although honestly, I think there's far worse confusion they've caused, since as I've said calling it a raptor isn't technically incorrect. They call all the animals in the game dinosaurs regardless of what they are, and in this video they even call the sarcosuchus a crocodile, which almost nobody watching will realize is incorrect. Even most paleo nerds don't realize. At least many people can realize that a lot of the roster isn't a dinosaur, but they won't realize the misinfo with sarcosuchus.
Lots of the times I’ve seen paleo nerds even call sarcos crocs since who’s gonna be saying “a pseudosuchian is killing me!” It’s just easier and convenient to say “a croc is killing me!” Gameplay wise. Especially in full pvp servers or no rule servers. It’s a game for the most part. Classifications and paleoaccuracy for semi and realism servers with its animal profiles.

The struthi is far from completion. It's actually kind of weird that they showed us it. It'll be a few months before we can expect to see it. Lamb should come pretty soon though, I suspect maybe within a month or two.
