    I love the Legato. Basshead IEM done right. Not muddy, slams hard, rumbles even harder, decent to good details, clear mids and highs, doesn't cost hundreds of dollars like FatFreq Maestro Mini, good build quality. I got mine for 48 USD during Linsoul's 6/18 sale.

      Do you use any dac with your legato?

      Legato with a balanced cable or more power through the standard 3.5mm= Maestro Mini.

    Oh bro you are using the narrow bore kb ear 08 tips??? Trust me, try some wide bores. It will balance out and clean up the sound sig. they are actually pretty clean sounding this way and open the stage.

      Thanks for the tips. I was using others before but will try the wide bore version of this size and see where it lands. Appreciate it!

    I love these iems. I suggest tri clarion , dunu s and s or jvc spiral dots eartips. You are going to want a good wide bore tip to balance the sound, but not one that will kill the bass (spring tips).

    It would be amazing if you could review the new Simgot EM6L because i was thinking about purchasing those too. I already saw some reviews but i trust your videos more because you do detailed reviews for gaming as well. Keep up the great work!

    • @Hijynx87

      The new simgots are good for gaming, fresh reviews made them his #1 budget pick now. Hell even the ea500 and ew200 are good for gaming, but those aren’t on his “wall hack” tier list.

      @@Hijynx87 i saw that but i trust @gadgetrytech bcuz he plays warzone also. He's the reason why i got the EA500. Fresh Reviews does Apex and Valorant.

    The Legato is THE basshead iem under $200. I have the maestro mini and it outperforms it. If you don’t have $100, get it’s cheaper cousin the KBear Rosefinch. Similar tuning at around $25 or less.

    • @princeajaz9167

      Legato has more bass than Maestro mini?

    • @moonsofjupiter
      @moonsofjupiter 10 місяців тому

      @@princeajaz9167 yes and the smooth treble tuning helps to emphasize it. The mini needs a bit more mid bass.

    Curious if you’ve ever tested the kiwi ears orchestra lites or the seekreal dawn pro? They’re a couple of iems that are supposed to have insane imaging for games.
    Love your reviews btw.

    • @Hijynx87
      @Hijynx87 Рік тому +2

      I have the orchestra lites, and they are pretty good. However they are ventless so you get a pressure buildup and airtight vacuum seal. Foam tips make it much more comfortable, but you can always pull up on your ears to make a comfortable seal.

      Also have Orchestra Lites and can confirm they are the best gaming IEMs.

      @GadgetryTech Would you say these are good complimentary iems for someone convinced the Letshouer S12s sound amazing for nearly every genre, but still wants to experiment with different signatures? Was so close to grabbing the Ew200 or EM6L for black friday, but afraid the S12 makes them and some other sub 100 iems redundant? I also listen on Zendac v2 and btr3k, balanced

    • @scarletvan4749
      @scarletvan4749 8 місяців тому

      I'd say yes, but Legato has insane amount of bass that might be too much for anyone but acute bassheads. If u r unsure whether u like this kind of sound sig, try it's cheaper alternative, the KBear Rosefinch first. @@Splooie010

    Hey mate, since you've done such a fantastic comprehensive review on it; can you recommend the Audeze Maxwell for gym use (purely lifting weights)? If not, what headphone/IEM would you suggest?

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  Рік тому

      Thanks! I definitely do not suggest Maxwells for the gym. They are far too heavy and bulky to wear with any physical activity or heavy movement.

    hi, im a basshead and i have a question; is legato better than sennheiser ie60?
    i just found very clean with great condition second hand of both of them, ie60 is 47usd and legato 65usd. which one i should buy?

  • @jimashby43

    Plain look is good. camera work on the product a little more would be nice. I have the Reds, and the Hexa's, What do you think the next upgrade path should be. I'm happy with the details in the Hexa's, but just can't get enough bass out of them. I got the BTR5 2021 and surprised me it's a great gaming BT receiver, as long as your within 12 feet. But my next set will be used in the living room, out of a dedication headphone amp on the Preamplifier that the TV is hooked up to(for when others are asleep)

    • @GadgetryTech
      @GadgetryTech  Рік тому +1

      Thanks so much for the feedback! Yeah I need to figure out better ways to capture closeups more. I've been working on my "set" for production, including lighting and camera stuff so I hope for it to improve more over time. Thanks again, and thanks for your experience with the other IEMs.
      As far as upgrade paths go, that's a touch one in my opinion. I haven't listened to enough $200 and up IEMs to really gauge that level of product yet. I'd hate to steer you in the wrong direction. Hopefully in the coming months, I continue to hear enough that I like and are worth mentioning!

    I wouldn’t recommend this as someone’s only iem or first iem, unless they are bass heads of course. It’s really good for the price, excellent for gaming and movies too.

  • @yarbles66
    @yarbles66 Рік тому +1

    These are excellent for the price, but but as someome who listens to a lot of older 'pre loudness wars' (90s/early 00s) drum n bass - they really pale in comparison to the Fatfreq Maestro Mini which are the first ever IEM I gave a 10/10 to. I have far too many IEMs and the only other 10/10 is the Mangird Tea 2.
