Nice. And smart. Not just good tips for custom lights but great tips for any type of project. Only thing missing maybe is design - do you block off time for proof or sketch reviews with customer before proceeding with orders and install? Just how do you come up with cool designs and how is that part of your process, how do you balance the art with the craft?
diy people yeah man, and in my experience, sometimes I have my best customers just look for an excuse to spend a few bucks just to help the business. Happened today actually, and I can’t possibly express how grateful I am for people like that 🙏
Hey Chris, absolutely loved the video! It was super information! I did have a quick question though...where could I find sequential c lights for my 2017 STi? I want to do both my headlights and my tail lights but I couldn't find anything on the website besides the plain switchbacks for the headlights. I also have the LED package that Subaru offered in 2017 and I was wondering if I could add demon eyes to those weird projectors! If not, I may just do RGB halos. Thanks for all the help and everything you do!
I remember a year or two ago, you had a lot of Subie lighting videos but when I click on the product links, it sends me to your website and says the product is no longer available.. I just want to do something that no one else around here has! (Plus I was born a tinkerer so I'm always modding or building something!)
Hey do you have any videos on taillights ? I've heard there's a different process on taking them apart. I want to Customize the taillights on my Camaro with halo rings. Thanks in advance Chris.
Do you have a hack to make the Profile Prism RGB - Switchback LED Strips sequential? Also, are they cuttable? I'm aware I'll void the warranty. I just want to make sure they will still work (cut into 3" lengths), like their white/amber strips do.
Naaman Geist totally not a thing my man 😣 it’s just not feasible in the least. You’ll want to look into neopixel if you haven’t already. There’s some super dope new 12v neo stuff from AutomotiveCustomLighting
@@flyryde Do they have the same features as the Profile Prism RGBs, both RGB and switch-back (white/amber)? Are they also diffused, making it appear as one solid light? I'm not finding either of these qualities on the website you mentioned. And the only search result I get on their site for "neopixel" is "BlueGhozt Lite Smart LED Controller". I get more results with "neoprism" but nothing suits my needs. I could go without the sequential feature, if I have to, but I do need to be able to cut them down (3" max length). Do you know if the Profile Prism RGB strips have the cut marks on the back? I watched your video on "How To Modify Profile Pivot Switchback LEDs"( ua-cam.com/video/JgoWLSBIhH8/v-deo.html) but not sure if the same rules apply to their RGB strips...
Never mind. Just found out from Lightwerkz that they aren't cuttable like the Pivots. Think I may just go with Diode Dynamics HD strips and forget about RGB.
Hey I’m planning on building lights for my truck, does anyone know if they have to have projectors already, or could I install them into stock headlight style on a ‘02 Chevy 2500?
CANDID COUNTER this isn’t 1980 my man, that’s a terrible idea. People that want to come up with an idea, and spend a ton of time and money defending that idea long before the market has ever weighed in on it... will lose. Grandpa had it easy: Get a good idea, make it real, and claim it as his and only his. China will laugh at your patent if they even notice it during their R&D phase (Receive and Duplicate). Find a way to put your idea into existence where it helps people, and it’ll come full circle and help you eventually, if you’re patient 🧐

Yo! Thank you 🙏 It’s very likely not gonna happen my man. Everyone is pumped on ideas, but very few are executing and learning as they fail. I tend to attract a lot of time consuming phone calls and explanations of ideas that are dressed up as lucrative opportunities with NDAs. What’s your favorite tip from the video?
Planning so you don't have to pay for a customer's Uber 🤣
BoostedMotorsports Uber can get expensive tho, lmao
Tip # 4 for sure, I'd hate to put it back together and have different colors of LEDs.
I love it when the customer says can I get a discount, I go to a lot of shows and will advertise your work!

Excited coming across your channel, super helpful! I’ve got a 2018 Tacoma and would be cool to see if you’ve done them before?
