  • I’ve done SEMA builds that cut into my family time, had me working late at night, and never even made it to the show.
    Then there are times like what’s in todays video.
    The lesson I've learned, is that with the right people in your corner, you'll have more work coming your way than you can handle (I've DEFINITELY experienced this).

      @@KielTV777 While I can promise I haven’t done as good a job as I could have done on a lot of things, I do truly care about my craft and the people that build lights.
      I’m no angel, but I hope help a ton of people attract customers of their own in the ways that proved successful for me.
      Glad you’re watching 👊

    This is by and far the best video you’ve uploaded so far, if I missed something I found myself rewinding to hear it again. I’ve almost never done that on a video before. Love this video and the information it passed.

    You do it because you love it. As much of a HUGE pain in the ass it is to stay up all night working on a vehicle for the show that weekend, it's worth it. I don't miss it, but I do.

    Relationships are said to be the new currency. Money is way easier to make than a good and valuable relationship. I hope you’re doing well. I always love it when I get the notification that FlyRyde has uploaded a new video. We need more livestreams. I miss them.

      Thanks Josh, yeah man, almost everything is driven purely by money. Finding the people and the stuff that means more than money is always the best!

      Yeah, and I didn't mean it any other way. :) Likewise, I've been working on developing relationships with my active and prospective customers, and there is a lot of trust going on that is more than just business or one-off transactions. After-sales service is vital in assuring your customers of a commitment to them; they're always asking "what's new", or "what are you working on now" because its an engaging experience for them. I adopt a very responsible approach about function and compliance that are NEED-specific; starting of by telling me you want the brightest headlight to get back at other drivers is not a solution. One asked me to retrofit the NHK Gen IV Plus LED projectors into their fog lamps because he never uses his low beams. If I begin obliging the stupid, all I gain is notoriety for being irresponsible and unethical.

    Hello, I have a question that maybe you or someone else could answer in the comment section. I recently just installed some fancy rgb lights in my g37 headlights and am having lots of fun with them. But anyways I’d like to know; what’s the easiest way to be able to have my tail lights on but have my headlights off?

    • @flyryde
      @flyryde  2 роки тому

      It’d have to be a custom kill switch.

      @@flyryde Okay thanks, I’d also like to say thanks for all your videos on how to do these light customizations. You’re a great teacher and show excellent craftsmanship.
