Thank you very much for this video presentation! I was looking for an example, why I should do a factor analysis. Your explaination and examples (detailed with showing the spreadseet) helped me a lot to answer this question. Greetings from Würzburg, Germany :)
Thanks for watching. I did not look back at the video, but i guess this is the paper. you can let me know the title and i will share the full reference as well. Latif, K. F. (2018). The development and validation of stakeholder-based scale for measuring university social responsibility (USR). Social indicators research, 140(2), 511-547.
this is really great, thanks to Dr. so you mean after developing the items, we go for EFA directly, it will tell us which items are good for the questionnaire right? there is no need to send to respondents? when should I use EFA exactly? Do you have any video that explains the scale development from the beginning to the end with the EFA.? please advise
Thanks. I am glad you liked it. No, you willneed data from respondents. EFA does require data. For Complete scale Development process, watch this webinar ua-cam.com/video/Y08bcZdajm0/v-deo.html
Very informative prof. thank you. as we develop our questionnaire are we able to choose specific dimensions accodring to our needs or do we need to include all questionnaires of the dimensions that we developed?
Respected Sir, This is a wonderful video. Can you please make a video on multi-dimensional scale? Why to make, how it is different from other scales? and the detailed procedure for developing the scale.
Thank you for this presentation. I was wondering how you can determine the order of the items within the scale. Is it better to group them based on subscales or present them randomly? Does item order need to be fixed before analyses? And, once the scale is validated, can item order be changed (e.g., if items were randomised during data collection). Thank you!
Your videos are very useful sir, your knowledge about research is impressive 🤗. Sir if possible, could you please recommend some books on descriptive research. It would be very helpful because reading enhances knowledge.

THANK YOU SIR
Thanks. I am glad you liked it
Very informative session. Can the items be also generated from primary data collection, like answers during in-depth interview?
Yes, items can be generated from interviews.
this is really great, thanks to Dr.

What is the difference between scale and questionnaire??
Scale, Questionnaire, or measure are the terms normally used interchangeably for items that together measure a construct
Very informative prof. thank you. as we develop our questionnaire are we able to choose specific dimensions accodring to our needs or do we need to include all questionnaires of the dimensions that we developed?
Yes you can based on your conceptualisation.

Hi. Thanks for watching the video. I normally keep items of a single scale together. I do not randomize the items. Although, randomization may help.

Thanks. I am glad you liked the videos. I found Business Research Methods by Naval Bajpai, a very good book.
@@researchwithfawad thanks a lot sir🤗
Nice video.... Great channel .
Sir whats the process for Index development. Is it same as that for scale development
Index development is different. You may refer to other resources online. I am yet to make a tutorial on it
