My favourite shot was you sitting on the end of the cliff just showing your boots... the colour of the ocean with the shade from the cliff... the contrast. 👍😊
I have always wanted to visit Japan but since I not a big fan of crowded places like Tokyo. After looking at this blog I definitely want to visit Izumo! It feels like dream, especially the temples, forests and the shrine on the beach is a sight to be witnessed in real life. Thank you for such a wonderful vlog. 💜💛
LOVED THIS EMMA! Ah what a beautiful place! Also, in the word's of the Tokidoki Traveller herself: "HOLY WOW!" the zoom on your new camera is fab! Thank you for sharing your travels with us, I enjoyed this so much. LOVE YA, GURL! Also, the editing and music was superb. Gorgeous vid.
You're just getting better and better at getting those nice angles for great shots. Loved your videos when I first subscribed, love them even more now :D
That middle part with all the cool scenery from the coast kind of reminded me of Ponyo (and being reminded of a Studio Ghibli film is never a bad thing). Also, nice editing once again.
At 3:00, I think I understand it. It's like being in the moment, sensing & experiencing without distractions. It's why I often take few or no pictures of places I visit. That activity gets in the way of simply being there & feeling the ambience. If Emma is about to get a boyfriend, there's a very lucky chap wandering around somewhere right now.
Those scenery shot are gorgeous. Your travel vlogs and cooking vlogs are always my favorites. Basically food and a nice view is the way to my heart lol p.s. glad the rice worked! I drowned my laptop once, sadly it didn't make it.
oooh that shiny quality. such pretty places! i understand the being alone in certain places whike travelling, it's very calming. that train scene was priceless, it's amazing the things you gotta do to get nice shots! that denim jacket youre wearing day 2 with the blossoms, so cute! you're super lucky to travel and film #mydreamjob loving your videos anyway, hope you're having a lovely day :D
I've been binging through all of your videos this weekend and they're so so beautiful! You have such a calming and authentic presence. The editing and cinematography is so especially beautiful in this one!
Agree with your take on touring temples. I wore out my Japan-living relatives with wanting to see all of them, so was pretty soon left on my own if that was on my agenda... so that worked out well.
I love these videos! One day, when my husband and I are making enough, I'd love to travel to all the different places in Japan in your videos, they're just so beautiful.
Totally understand the need to be alone, especially in places like that. Such an awesome video as always. Hope you are doing well. Sending love, hugs and positivity!
i just started watching your videos and they bring me so much joy haha i've always wanted to travel and live in japan but life changes you know.. anyways definitely subscribing!! you're so much fun! WOOOOH!!!!

Hi Emma, if you're wondering if anyone is still watching your video from 2016...the answer is yes! Thanks for all the videos you make. I love your kitchen chat videos too.
出雲大社 has something to do with many mystical Japanese old story base, and actually it can say that place is hidden and very important place for Japanese spirit more than 伊勢神宮. You visited good place. I've never been there but I think I want to there someday.
Really awesome video! I agree with you on going solo when you want to appreciate places like shrines and temples. Hope you get a good boyfriend really soon :). I must say I'm loving the shots with your new camera.

Oh my goodness! Benten Jima's celebration falls on me and my husbands anniversary ;-; I must take him there, it's a sign from the gods themselves! Also, girl. Your cheek bones in the last scene? SO GOOD. So pure! As always (persistent and creepy) I love you! ~
If you guys are looking for a fun experience, take the Sunrise Izumo train. It's one of 2 overnight trains still running in Japan. It departs Tokyo station at 10 pm and arrives at Izumo station at 9:58 am the following morning.
This is a little off topic-I just wanted to make sure u saw this- how is your Spanish moss doing? Have u tried dunking the whole lot of it in water? (I heard that works) Also-great video!!! So much aesthetic
