KEY NOTES IN CASE YOU GET STUCK!!
1. Download Plutonium Here: plutonium.pw/
2. Press Windows Key + R and type in %localappdata%\Plutonium\storage\t4 & then press enter
3. If your map doesn't load then just open the console command and enter the following: Map Nazi_Zombie_(Insert map name) For example Map Nazi_Zombie_Lost & then press enter and your map should load straight away
4. Download Your Custom Maps Here: callofdutyrepo.com/
5. Make sure you create a mods folder once you have done number 2 above 🔼

FYI: Using the Official steam version of World At War will ensure everything launches smoothly and DOES NOT require plutonium to work however if your using other methods to load the game you need to run it though Plutonium which I show in the video how to link it anyway and then it will show you the mods correctly! Let me know if you need anything further help :)

@@Urthingsmall you must be missing a step because I’ve just installed 4 maps and tested them all and they all work…If it’s not working for you how I’m showing in the video try doing it this way:
1. Download the map
2. Run the exe & install the map that way just make sure you choose the folder path of where your main WaW game lives
3. Run plutonium and it should load fine

figured it out took me awhile but i got it it, asked me if i wanted to make the file compatible with my device and i always clicked yes but you have to click no for it to work

Okay idk if it was some outdated method or an unnecessary step but when I was looking up how to do this initially the video said to put the applications in both the steam mods folder & the plutonium mods folder, is that not actually needed? Like it all works fine aside from 1 specific mod that bugged on me but regardless, is doing that just taking up more storage space that isn't needed?
Honestly all I do is put maps straight into the mods folder that’s within the T4 plutonium area as seen in the video & done easy as that 👌🏼 you don’t need the mods to be in both plutonium and steam folders and tbh as you mentioned already it will obvs take up double the space
Hello, how about a guide on how to install custom zombies maps that requires T4M while using plutonium. A guide on that would be very appreciated. I want to play Empty Walls with full effects such as the air raid bombings.
It's the same thing as installing a normal map

No worries at all glad I could help 💪 In terms of playing with friends I believe you first need to add each other on plutonium website and then when you load up a map you should have an option that says friends or co op select that and I think you can then choose host online and then from there you can invite your friend...Sorry I normally do Solo so this is just coming from the top of my head from when I last done a co op match few months ago 😅 Let me know how you get on and if you still stuck shout me I will try help

2:20 your screen has the option that says play and then another button next to it that says game settings. When I pull up mine, it just shows a rectangle button that says setup. How do I go about making it like yours
Hi, sorry for the late reply! So yeah mine says play because I have already linked my game path to plutonium so where your one says set up it means you need to click on game settings and then all you need to do is simply link the game path of which cod you wanna play so WaW, BO1, BO2 or MW3 and then job done :)
The best way to find out where you main root folder is located is you can right click on the game icon and select properties and then choose open file location just grab that file path Chuck it into the plutonium one and everything should boot up fine
Hey man just have a quick question so i’ve been playing a few custom zombie maps but i’ve been having some trouble with a few maps when i go to extract a map it gives a random folder labeled $1 when clicking on the folder it shows the map but when i try to launch it it dosent work but with any ugx modded map it works using call of duty repo and using 7zip to extract
Hey man, with those one you need to click into the $1 folder as you mentioned and then cut and paste the actual map
Folder into the file path where the $1 folder is sitting then you can remove it (the $1) since no longer needed, and when you go to launch the map it should now work.
Alternatively, you can just open up the .EXE file and just install it like that and when you go back on to WaW it should load up all good. Lemme know how it goes
Tryna do splitscreen with nucleus coop and the mod maps just dont wanna launch 😅
I don’t really have a lot of knowledge with that 2 player mod so I’m not sure how to fix that issue 😞 I guess the only way I could suggest something would be to start up the map solo and then quit the map open up the console command and type In map & This should give you the map name and and then maybe type in DEVMAP And then what the map was called press enter, and hopefully the map should launch with your mod applied…
I know this tactic is mainly for when maps don’t launch solo or you want to launch them with cheats enabled, but that’s the only solution I can think of as I assume the nucleus mod is something that you drop into the directory folders right it’s not something that you actually load up on the main menu I dunno 😅 either way I hope this solves it, and if it doesn’t, I hope you figure out solution soon
Last part did not work. My map did not load into mods and i tried to go into console Typed in my maps name, and it still did not work. Any ideas to help me?
For some reason, I have problems with Christmas Warehouse v3 to load up. I always get stuck when the green bar finishes loading but it never actually goes into the map, is there any reason why?
That’s odd…it could just be an issue with the map itself..these waw maps are very old and full of bugs and I’ve also encounter few times where a map I may of played months ago worked back then but when I go play it few months later it no longer works…have you tried loading the map using the command bar - devmap *insert map name*
So I did everything that this guy said and yet it doesn’t work, it shows that it’s ready to go but it doesn’t want to launch
Do you have to download certain maps for plutonium or can you download any of the older maps people have made for the official game cuz theres a old Halloween map I've always wanted to play but I dont want to play so can i play it on plutonium
All maps work through plutonium so feel free to download what ever maps you like :) If you do come across an issue like for example the map doesn't load or you can't move around upon spawning (this is very rare) then re-install the map and try it again but to be honest I doubt you'd come across anything like this as I haven't since playing WaW customs so you should be good to go

@@RAPID_FUSIONZ is there a way I could get noclip (or godmode) for this map I really just want to look around without being killed I tried Discarded V3 but when I load the map it says “ERROR: MAX_PRECACHE_ENTRIES exceeded” after that I tried to use console commands but it says “cheats aren’t enabled on this server” this seems to be the only map I can’t use the mod menu on

Devmap Nazi_Zombie_Lost
Press enter and should load up 👍🏼 with the ability to use god mode etc
Hey bro I followed all the steps but for some reason when I click launch on the map it crashes plutonium. The map was super Mario 64. I went looking for a server to join and found the Batman Wayne Manor map and was able to play it straight through the server selection without going to the website. But then I tried another map that was called SpongeBob and that one crashed too.
What’s good man! Sorry to hear your having issues sounds odd can’t lie…I just installed the Mario 64 map and it works perfectly fine but what I did find is that when I extracted or unzip the original file it gave me a folder that said 1$ and then inside there was the super Mario 64 folder so just make sure you grab the correct folder before loading up and it should be all good!
Another way is just double click on the downloaded map and install it manually that way ensuring the map is installed into the correct file path and boom it should load up fine again.
hey man i downloaded couple of maps just like you showed in the video but once i extracted all 5 of them and opened the game only 1 was showing in the mods section of game
Sometimes when you extract it the map you downloaded will be sitting inside the folder if that makes sense so click into it and you should the see the map you downloaded and just copy and paste that into the mods folder.
Like this below file path for example
Mods/*what ever folder/your downloaded map
You wanna cut and paste your downloaded map into the mods area
Hey when I launch the game an error pops up saying Could not find zone 'E:\COD WORLD AT WAR\Call of Duty World At War\zone\english\patch.ff'

tried running on a pirated copy but I guess it's missing files. Is there a fix around for this? It might be game version is too old as I can't even load mods directly without plutonium

Hey man, I’m doing a video on this as we speak as I’ve had few people ask me about this now but yeah You first need to add each other through the plutonium website. After you’ve done that both of you need to have the exact same map installed. Once done 1 of you go ahead and load up the mod There should be a section where it says co op, click that and select host LAN and then swap the mode from campaign to zombies.
Final bit is open up your console the key under ESC or left to number 1 and type in xpartygo and press enter and you should get pulled into a game
Your friend now has to press f10 once they loaded the mod and then at the top select friends list and boom you should be able to join… as soon as they join simply restart the game and you both were spawn in
Simple to say, but very long to type out 🤣💪🏼
I got a question will this still work if u have the disc version only and not the steam version
I don’t see why it wouldn’t to be fair as all you need is the game files (main directory folder) and then your good to go so yeah I’d say should work

Peace Unto You! I need help when I start up waw custom zombies there’s no sound. In the menus and loading screens I hear the sound but when I get into the actual map it’s mute. Is there a solution for this? Thank you!
Hey there! Is this issue happening on multiple maps or just the 1 or 2? It’s very odd that’s for sure as I haven’t experienced this issue…could just be a glitch with the map itself as waw custom are very old and not updated anymore or maybe you have a setting turned down which you are not aware

hey man i know im a bit late to the party but plutonium seems really laggy and hats lots of input de;ay how do i fix it do you know?
Not too sure but could have something to do with v sync…I think when this is turned on it prevents screen tearing but could cause input delay

Did you 100% install it correctly? Mine loads up fine so maybe a file just got missed out by mistake
is the process the same way for black ops 2 zombies?
BO2 doesn’t have any proper custom maps it does have some cool mods like Nuketown city of mars and tranzit reimagined via plutonium site but yeah the way you install BO2 mods is done in a different way
some maps say they need T4M. I have the steam version of WaW do i need this download of T4M too?
Yeah download the T4M it’s very easy to install you just need to basically open your main root folder for WaW & then drag and drop from DLL file from the T4M download into the main root folder and Job done 👌🏼 might as well open the optional folder if there is one and move over the BMP file as well if it’s in there 👍🏼 if anything comes on the screen saying do you wanna replace? Just press yes it’s fine
i use winrar and dont have the option to extract all for some reason, am i just missing something?
Hmm that is odd… The only thing I can think of is maybe the folder you’re looking at is not a zip folder… try and download 7-zip that’s what I use and it works pretty well

I don’t think so no I believe this works without plutonium but doing through plutonium has lots of benefits such as easy to play with friends & some maps actually do require plutonium for them to function correctly as well

If there’s no option it means you need to install a software to do it. I use 7Zip & recommend that one

Waw has way more options tbh but Bo1 does have some incredible maps like Perish for example & the renaissance mod as well is very cool 💪🏼
When I type in the local app data it ask me what program I want to use. It won’t open what is the problem

Hello 👋🏼 sorry for late reply! Yeah that is odd..again normally when I type that phrase it goes straight into the folder path as seen in my video..
1. Press windows key + R
2. Type the following and press enter
%localappdata%\Plutonium\storage
3. Now you should see folders named T4, T5, T6 and so fourth
4. Continue the following steps in my video 😊
If it’s still not working maybe you just saved the plutonium folder in a different folder and in that case you should be able to locate it by right clicking plutonium app and open folder location

I mainly play solo but I believe it’s like this ⬇️
1. Add each other on the plutonium website (make sure it’s the same accounts used for the plutonium desktop app otherwise you’ll have issues)
2. Make sure you both have the same map downloaded
3. As the host load up the map you wanna play choosing the play with friends option or host LAN something like that & then when your in the game on your own your friend has to press F10, click friends list and double click on your name and they should join 👍🏼 once they do just restart match and done
As mentioned don’t really play co op on WaW that often but last time I did pretty sure these where the steps I done…let me know if it works 👌🏼
Hey boss, so upon using plutonium there's this coolbmap I really want to play, Shi No Mori, unfortunately I load in and my character won't move in that map and it's from UGX mods :( any help on this?
Hey how's it going :) I just tried installing this map as well and I'm having the same issue so unfortunately there is something wrong with the map itself meaning it's now unplayable :/ I tried installing it directly form both UGX themselves and the Repo site I show in video and I also ran the application as well without extracting the file etc to see if it had to be forced manually or something and still nothing....It's annoying for real because this map does look awesome and I would of played this for a video myself but it's just one of those maps where it's obviously just broken something down the line and the map creator hasn't or has no desire to go back and update since it's an old map or maybe they lost the files who knows
Good news is you shouldn't experience this issue on any other map but as I mentioned this one looks like it's dead ; /

Hi sorry for the late reply! So best way to handle this situation is go onto Steam & right click on the waw game & what you wanna do is open up the file location so basically your main directory of where Call of Duty WaW lives.
Once you’ve got that open, simply go to the top of the bar and copy that entire file path, go back into plutonium, and then simply paste that same file path into it & press okay and everything should sync up perfect 💪🏼

Hey man I don’t have the option to extract the map mod folder
You need to install 7Zip in order to unzip folders, also if you have windows 11 once you hit right click on mouse click show more or more options something like that at the bottom and then you can select extract here 👍🏼
To be fair you can also just run the application/.exe map file and install that way it might be easier

What do you mean sorry? Are you saying you’re having trouble launching the game because it’s not linking up or is it something to do with no being able to access online features?
If it’s about the game syncing up please read the below:
Go to waw on stream click right button on mouse and then manage game or something like that then from there press open file or game location and it will take you to the main root folder
Copy that path and paste it into plutonium and done all should now be linked up

I can't seem to boot up the map even when typing it into the console, is there any possible reason for this?
What map are you trying to launch it could be the name your typing 🙂 sometimes a map could be down as a different name when looking into the maps folder and seeing the IWD file etc

How do you open the command bar?
top left of the keyboard next to the number or just above the tab button (It's the key that has 3 random lines on it)
Bro idk what I did wrong but my mod folder gone n it won’t work
Don’t worry do these steps 👊🏻
1. Create a mods folder again
2. Download plutonium and set it up (don’t need it but most of maps need it to
Run better)
3. Link your game through plutonium using the quick guide in my video
4. Download any map you want from Repo site
5. Once map is downloaded right click and press extract here (need 7Zip or something similar for this I link it in description)
6. Move the map folder into the mods folder you made & then feel free to delete the zip folder you original downloaded of the map
7. Load up waw through plutonium, click mods run it and done if map doesn’t load just open the console command and type map nazi_zombies_(insert map name) & press enter map will load straight away
My video explains everything better but just in case here’s a text guide 👌🏼 let me know if you need more help
is there any way to get the games without buying them
Plutonium used to offer something along the lines of that but as you probably know they had to remove it so as far as I’m aware the only way to have it is through buying it officially and tbh better to do it that way anyway to avoid any issues such as missing files or something annoying like that
What if you own the game via steam, and linked it to plutonium?
Yeah that’s still fine & to be honest that’s the way it should be done to avoid any issues 👍🏼
How do i extract? an extract option doesn't show up
My bad, you need to install a software to extract contents out of the folder the one I use is 7Zip it’s free as well
How can I use the 7-zip?
It’s a free program you need to
Install first the once it’s all installed just right click on mouse and you can unzip the folders (I think I’ve linked it in description but if not let me know and I’ll do it)
On the command box when I type “map” and the name of the map and press enter nothing happens
When that happens it means the map is under a different name...For example the map Nuk37town won't load by doing 'map Nuk37town' instead I had to go into the maps folder and i saw that most of the files in there specifically the IWD file was down as nazi_zombie_fail so I typed in map nazi_zombie_fail pressed enter and it then loaded.
Try this out for yourself or let me know which map your trying to play and I will help you that way :)

@@NightRaid77 Ok so I figured out the issue lol and your gonna laugh...So when you extracted the file to get the folder you should see 2 folders right 1. $PLUGINSDIR (which you can delete) & 2. $1
You need to click into the $1 and you'll see Super Mario 64 folder lol that's the one that needs to go inside the mods folder...As soon as you done that load up game and Super Mario 64 should be there and load up fine it does for me!

Did you install a software to unzip the folder? If not install 7Zip that’s what I use
For plutonium if you forgot your password is there away to recover or send a new password for plutonium account

Odd…have you unzipped the map application so you have the actual maps folder? If so remember delete the application version after and then only keep the maps folder in there.

There are lots of mods that add more features and change up the maps textures etc but not really custom maps… I mean there is one map which is kinda custom which is called Nuketown city of mars which I’ve covered both versions and that’s as close as custom map you’ll get really…or you there’s tranzit reimagined where all the textures and stuff have been changed to make it feel like a whole new experience that’s also very good
When i tried to search up a map, all it did was load forever until it closed all my tabs...

Once I launch waw zombies I get a static screen and I can't see the game. Does anyone know how to fix?
Is it the official copy?? If so you shouldn’t really be getting that however try verify the integrity of game files and that should restore any missing ones that could be missing

It says couldn't load image zombie_stopwatch when I load the custom map
If your map doesn't load then just open the console command and enter the following:
Map Nazi_Zombie_(Insert map name) For example Map Nazi_Zombie_Lost & then press enter and your map should load straight away
If this still does not work, then either the map is bugged (this happens on some maps because the game is so old) or you may need to reinstall the map
@@RAPID_FUSIONZ when I click on the launch button in mods the game restarts and gives the error
@@maxim13able u need to update the game to version 1.7 for it to work, becuz that error happens if ure on version 1.6, if u can't update it then I suggest that u need to buy the game for it to work

it's becuz they need u to register for a reason, if ure gonna play on the client or play with ur friends
I followed every step perfectly and the map won’t load when I double click.
Some maps are like that so in order to run then you need to select the map and then open console command and type Devmap (insert name of the map) and then press enter and it should load
MINE DOESNT WORK
Hey when I launch the game an error pops up saying Could not find zone 'E:\COD WORLD AT WAR\Call of Duty World At War\zone\english\patch.ff'
What shall I do?
With things like this it’s either you need to reinstall the custom map just incase a file is missing or you might need to re-install WaW just in case a file got replaced or deleted by mistake!

@@RAPID_FUSIONZ Hey man, I reinstalled my game and the Zombie Map ( Shi No Numa ) but it still didn't work. it still says 'E:\COD WORLD AT WAR\Call of Duty World At War\zone\english\patch.ff' I think its missing the file 'patch.ff' I downloaded the game from a pirated source and not from Steam. Do you know if I could somehow download that certain file and paste it there. Please man I've always wanted to play this.
@@RAPID_FUSIONZ I just downloaded patch.ff and pasted it in the required folder and it worked but now it says Couldn't load image 'loadscreen_mp_makin_day'

@@Arman420_69 I had a similar experience a few weeks ago where I was trying to load up WaW campaign and even do some classic Verruckt and it was coming up with some error messages so I reinstalled the game and then it started working fine. I suggest you do the exact same thing reinstall the game because I think some files have been deleted down the line somewhere…
If you bought the game on steam all you need to do for that is just verify your files integrity that way it saves you from deleting the game and reinstalling. If you have the game through other methods, then just reinstall it again & link it back up to plutonium
what about PS3 ?
Custom maps are only available on PC I’m afraid

That’s odd… are you downloading it from their official website? I assume you probably are and if so that is very weird but it could just be your antivirus protection stopping the download and if that is the case you might need to put that on pause for a second and then put it back on once it’s installed.

I’ve tried out 5 different maps since you mentioned this and they all worked 🤔 are you 100% sure you ain’t missed a step? What map you downloading as well could just be the map itself

My maps won’t launch no matter what
Are they showing up in the menu when you click mods but they don’t launch is that what you mean?
I downloaded a leviathan.exe is it a virus?
Did you download it from the Repo site I showed? if so just unzip the contents and move the Leviathan folder into the mods folder as I showed and it will load up fine. You don't need to run any .exe files

@@DarcyTheManstopa lot of maps are mostly .exe anyways and there's nothing u can do bout that, unless u wanna unzip the contents as rapid fusionz said, like using 7zip
