I love this ornament! Thank you for sharing the how-to. I plan to paint some of these. Years ago, I did some tole-painted ornaments and yours reminds me of them. I would love to see more painted ornament tutorials!

@@SweetWillowDsgn Me too. Started learning while living in Texas in the '80s and continued through the '90s, teaching classes at the local junior college in Wyoming. I am out of practice too. I'm loving dot painting, however. :)

Love this pattern. Thanks for sharing. A tip that might work also is that I’m making them for my family’s dinner table this year, and I’m going to add some sparkle sugar inside to represent snowfall. This is gorgeous! I'm just getting into ornament painting/dotting, and this would be a fantastic addition to my collection. I like to give special ornaments to family/friends each year, and now, making them will be even more special! Trying to think how to incorporate a cardinal as a memorial to my Dad for this year's ornament.

A great place to get a gauge of prices for hand painted ornaments is Etsy. Search for these types of ornaments and you'll find a variety of ornaments and prices. That's my best advice. Prices are so variable based on the selling venue and location.
