Yeah, my dad used to play football in high school and he was a super good running back, and he says that the morning after each game you're sore all over and it's hard to move cuz you're in a lot of pain
@@arstizen919 it's mad physical everyone always says the pads provides a false sense of security and makes people hit harder and normally each hit from both sides gonna hurt of some extent. Your dad was a RB and that position the wear and tear is much greater than a QB on average because they are more in the trenches. My team is the Baltimore Ravens and this season damn near the entire starting roster is hurt and we just lost our star CB Marlon Humphrey yesterday against the Steelers for the season because he was already playing hurt. Gettin hurt is almost part of the game lol

To everybody watching don't forget in the NFL the average height is 6'2" (188 cm) and about 245 lbs (111kg) of mostly pure muscle. The average open field 1 on 1 tackle is equivalent to being hit my a car going 20 mph (32 kph) which is the reason for the extra pads. Plus they play in every kind of weather (wind, rain, snow, etc.) Don't keep sleeping on the NFL lol
I watched a Korean league football game here on UA-cam, super cool to see the sport being picked up! The Korean league is no where close to NFL level I would say a higher programmed high school, or Divison III college. The one I watched had an actual QB from America that was running all over the defense the whole game. But It was interesting to watch I enjoyed it

So rugby players are probably better conditioned, but Nfl players can go harder for the 30 seconds that they are out there. NFL athletes are also bigger, faster, stronger....
I’d really like to see a professional football league in Korea come to life as an American so that they could experience the the thrill of American football in stadiums. It’s an awesome experience and good time to have just like soccer but with more contact.
The euphoria of having a 7 hour day at school and taking a 1 hour nap then getting ready to get in the car to see your friends and watch your school football game every friday night is such a big american tradition that i love telling my friends here in Russia that i miss!! I played tackle football against the Korean National team and they are mad good as well just like the ones from Hong Kong and Shanghai. Just like in the Philippines, its not a known sport but there a few guys like us who plays it. I also play Rugby and Ice Hockey too. Holler to all linebackers like me here!

you start football when you are really young as a child, then in school, middle school through high school, then into college, and if you are lucky you get drafted by the NFL but a lot of those that do not get drafted go to Canada, or other countries that have adopted American Football.

Girls play football here in the states also. As for pads, lol, we used to cut our pads down so we could run faster. Tailbone pad? Knee pads? Never used them lmao. Most common injury, sprains. If you know how to tackle properly and not lead with your head you won't have to worry about concussions too much.
Exactly, I've been playing linebacker, arguably the second most likely position to get head injuries (behind runningbacks) for 3 years and never once got a major head injury. Most common? Knee/ankle problems.
I've been playing all my life and the feeling of being hit full speed by a guy twice my size isn't great. I believe an average nfl hit is the equivalent of a car crash.

Actually you’d be surprised to know females do play football but very rarely. Both me and my sister have played in football before (I’m playing this year but next year I’m going to go back into cheerleading). I’ve played football all my life and it’s a passion of mine. I’ve been a cheerleading for 5 years and a football player for 2. I usually play at home and not in school since my mom won’t let me but this year I dropped out of cheerleading to be in football. 😂🤙🏻 Amazing vid haha

Was there a translation error when he said what position he plays? The subtitle said he discovered he could throw, but then said he passes it to the QB rather than that he is the QB. He looks more like a QB than a Center frankly.

You have to understand how easy it is for football players to be concussed. Every time their helmet collides with another player or with the ground, their brain is smacking against their skull. Injuries are inevitable, and for professional football players who do this for a living, those concussions add up over time. There is a very serious brain condition called CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) that can be found in most professional football players still playing in their 30's and 40's. Unfortunately, it can't be officially diagnoses until autopsy, but 99% of autopsies of deceased NFL players showed signs of CTE. CTE causes nerve cell death in the brain, which leads to irritability, depression, memory loss, self-destructive behavior (many have even committed suicide), and eventually dementia. Traumatic brain injuries and concussions can lead to CTE over time. It's a scary sport that required you to risk your body in every game, and I'm surprised it hasn't been given more restrictions for the safety of the players. I hope they play it more safely in Korea! In fact, I like flag football better because there's no tackling.

As an American, it’s funny to watch because even though I don’t know a lot about the game, I understand the basics of it so it’s weird to see someone who doesn’t because everyone here knows at least the basics of a touchdown. And the hitting and tackling, I’ve went to every football my school has played for the last 4 years (I’m in marching band so I kinda have to go) it just doesn’t seem odd or you don’t think about it to much
@@ELmayberry I play the flute for concert band but this past year I marched 1st/2nd bass for marching band (our 4th bass had to move so we had to bring a quad player who played bass last year to 4th for the show and since he still wanted to play quads in the stands, we brought up someone from pit to play first in the stands and also March in with and March parades with first. It’s confusing).

To everybody watching don't forget in the NFL the average height is 6'2" (188 cm) and about 245 lbs (111kg) of mostly pure muscle. The average open field 1 on 1 tackle is equivalent to being hit my a car going 20 mph (32 kph) which is the reason for the extra pads. Plus they play in every kind of weather (wind, rain, snow, etc.) Don't keep sleeping on the NFL lol
I watched a Korean league football game here on UA-cam, super cool to see the sport being picked up! The Korean league is no where close to NFL level I would say a higher programmed high school, or Divison III college. The one I watched had an actual QB from America that was running all over the defense the whole game. But It was interesting to watch I enjoyed it
The NFL doesn't play in lightning, tornadoes, or hurricanes as far as I know. Otherwise, yeah, fog is my favorite, coaches have no idea what the players are doing. LOL

@@Gleeshhh My take from watching rugby highlights was that in comparison to american football, each play can last minutes, compared to like 30 seconds in the nfl. So rugby players are probably better conditioned, but Nfl players can go harder for the 30 seconds that they are out there. NFL athletes are also bigger, faster, stronger....

I’d really like to see a professional football league in Korea come to life as an American so that they could experience the the thrill of American football in stadiums. It’s an awesome experience and good time to have just like soccer but with more contact.
The euphoria of having a 7 hour day at school and taking a 1 hour nap then getting ready to get in the car to see your friends and watch your school football game every friday night is such a big american tradition that i love telling my friends here in Russia that i miss!! They always envy me with the stories i tell for had living such a movie like life
I played tackle football against the Korean National team and they are mad good as well just like the ones from Hong Kong and Shanghai. Just like in the Philippines, its not a known sport but there a few guys like us who plays it. I also play Rugby and Ice Hockey too.

you start football when you are really young as a child, then in school, middle school through high school, then into college, and if you are lucky you get drafted by the NFL but a lot of those that do not get drafted go to Canada, or other countries that have adopted American Football.
If they do stay in the U.S it's usually Semi-Pro, Arena Football, etc.

Most common injury, sprains. If you know how to tackle properly and not lead with your head you won't have to worry about concussions too much.
Exactly, I've been playing linebacker, arguably the second most likely position to get head injuries (behind runningbacks) for 3 years and never once got a major head injury. Most common? Knee/ankle problems.

Actually you’d be surprised to know females do play football but very rarely. Both me and my sister have played in football before (I’m playing this year but next year I’m going to go back into cheerleading). I’ve played football all my life and it’s a passion of mine. I’ve been a cheerleading for 5 years and a football player for 2. I usually play at home and not in school since my mom won’t let me but this year I dropped out of cheerleading to be in football. 😂🤙🏻 Amazing vid haha

You have to understand how easy it is for football players to be concussed. Every time their helmet collides with another player or with the ground, their brain is smacking against their skull. Injuries are inevitable, and for professional football players who do this for a living, those concussions add up over time. There is a very serious brain condition called CTE (chronic traumatic encephalopathy) that can be found in most professional football players still playing in their 30's and 40's. Unfortunately, it can't be officially diagnoses until autopsy, but 99% of autopsies of deceased NFL players showed signs of CTE. CTE causes nerve cell death in the brain, which leads to irritability, depression, memory loss, self-destructive behavior (many have even committed suicide), and eventually dementia. Traumatic brain injuries and concussions can lead to CTE over time. It's a scary sport that required you to risk your body in every game, and I'm surprised it hasn't been given more restrictions for the safety of the players. I hope they play it more safely in Korea! In fact, I like flag football better because there's no tackling.

As an American, it’s funny to watch because even though I don’t know a lot about the game, I understand the basics of it so it’s weird to see someone who doesn’t because everyone here knows at least the basics of a touchdown.
