The crash was caused by pilot error and a malfunctioning inertial navigation system, leading to spatial disorientation and loss of control12. This incident was the deadliest involving a Boeing 737-400 and contributed to the eventual shutdown of Adam Air.

There is very little difference between 400 and 600 series of B737. A seasoned eye would fail to spot it. However. your yielding is well noted.
Autopilot is an AI based system, performs or delivers output based on fed input(good or bad). Airspeed, Altitude and Heading are the Three basics things a Pilot looks first, if two of three are conflicting its a challenging situation. Flying hours of both Capt. and FO were just numbers as both fail to foresee things ahead. During take off, Crew must have compensated/compromised for the defective trim of Aileron, mid-air trouble shooting sealed their fate.

The aircraft seems to have technical issues. The Pilots seem to be not competent enough to control the plane in such situations. ATC also seems to have taken a casual attitude. Thus this avoidable tragedy happened. 🤣
