- Savage Opress had a short yet very interesting story, and I think that his character definitely deserved more screetime. In this video I go into detail regarding why he deserved better treatment.

mauls story is sad but savages man, ripped from his tribe, turned into a monster against his will, made him kill feral, follow his brother and losing limbs then dying in a fight that meant nothing to him, only to maul. i can only think if he was jedi, he would’ve been so powerful because he was so caring and empathetic even tho he was a dathomirian zabrak. Rip savage
Savage oppress could've served as an excellent bridge into "nightsibling"/dathomirian society.
There are multiple dimensions of their society yet left unexplored. Animal bending, Totem crafting, the hunt, the three trials, the social darwinism within nightbrother society would all have served as excellent plot hooks, for at least a few filler episodes.

I mean...every character in Clone Wars deserved better, war made scars so internal that everyone will have to deal with it.
Facts, really everyone got is shitty in the Clone Wars in the birth of the empire.
Bad Batch is great but so depressing and sad because you know these characters die.

I don't think Savage had a bad run.
He was just exploited by everyone and everything; barely had any desires or opinions.
He has another tragic fate like many others in the universe; a pawn for a means.
He tried his best and never once doubted the words and orders he received pretty much.
Savage should've really become what maul became.
Unfortunately maul surviving justifies a lot of bullcrap involving characters returning to life.
Savage should've been the one to take vengeance for his brothers death
darth maul was a scrub, savage opress on the other hand was a beast, and a real man
