You can make a good silencer yourself, buy a larger bore perforated stainless pipe, (to avoid back pressure) as long as you like, wrap it in fibreglass, then encapsulate it in whatever you like, aluminium, etc. keep the original one inline , and you can get almost silence. Air induction can be dealt with the same way.
