Wow! So cool! Just a visitor dropping by to see how this sorcery is made and my only word is literally WOW! Thank you for sharing your talent and your time 😊
I love your 🕸️! My Son just started Law School and my oldest son is in the Academy to be a Tennessee State Trooper and I made them both a Spider 🕷️ and the 🕸️ and shaped it as pencil or pen cup holder and I made your web as the cup holder ☺️ So thank you so much for your video! They love the 🕸️ web ✌️🤗✌️
Sorry for the late reply!🌼 Oh, I'm so happy my video helped you to create a gift for your suns! Your project sounds very exciting! 😀❤ P.S. the reason I reply your comment late: we moved to Tennessee recently, so now I have a break for a while (my tools and equipment are packed in the boxes). Can't wait to start making new videos!
After you reduced it the first time, it was in a long square shape. You cut it up and then we see triangles. Did you form the first cuts into triangles?
Could you explain the transition from the triangle to the cane. It's difficult to see how it is turned and which ends start to come toward each other. Thank you
How do you get your lines to be straight after they're kind of curved? That's the issue I'm having ? Why not just have a long piece of clay cut it into rectangles and then lay the white?
Great piece! Quick question, how long did it take to get from the initial triangle block to the thinner, longer block. It’s a bit difficult figuring out the how to in the video.
Thank you!🌻 It takes not a long time!😉 Shaping the triangle canes is the same as shaping regular circle canes: Start with reducing the center, squeeze and pull the edges. After, try this: 🔸put the triangle on one side, 🔸put a glass bevel/flat surface object on it, 🔸press (like I do here 1:29). Do this with all three sides. You can try shaping with glass/acrylic pieces on the cane edges (I show this method in these videos: 🌺. ua-cam.com/video/UYU8j903CzQ/v-deo.html 🌺. ua-cam.com/video/Yz_zJHJvplo/v-deo.html I hope this will help! 🌷🌷🌷
Love the tutorial. I tried this followed it but when i tried to stretch it out it got sll messed up tried it twice but couldn't get it msybr im using the wrong clay ir something. Im gonna keep trying to get it but so far no luck 😞
Thank you!🎃 It's hard to say.. Usually I use large clay pieces for my videos. It is easier for the viewer to follow the process. I guess it was two thirds of a regular clay package. 🌷
@@polinacreations7729 thanks i just used a. What i thought amd got to were you start to shape and reduce it . i am having trouble there lol i keep replaying the video so i can understand how you got the shape . i will figure it out . lol i know i am probably just not getting it. Thanks again love your videos.
@@polinacreations7729 what temperature do you bake them before slicing? I think I'm using too high of a temp, my canes become brittle and just crumble when I try to slice them.
There are many options 🙂: 1. You can use it for making clay beads; 2. Just slice it, drill if needed, and use as earrings/necklace etc.; 3. For making polymer clay slab; 4. I often use it for decorating polymer clay gingerbread houses; 5. Some people use if for decorating glass bottles (I never did it myself but it looks awesome!❤) And much more!😉🌷
PolinaCreations Oh wow! Thanks for that! My mind pretty much stays in the box of charms and earrings so it’s hard for me to think outside of that. Lol.
Would you sale any of your fimo slice already baked and ready to use? I would like to use them in shaker cards in my scrapbooking.. I have not learned to make them yet.
Yes, I could.🙂 But now I'm in the middle of the moving, my store is temporarily closed at this moment.. Its hard to say when exactly I will start selling my items again..🤷🏼♀️ I hope soon!
Don't worry!🙏🏻 It takes time and a lot of practice to start "feeling" the canes. I often fail and remake my canes.😥 You can try shaping with glass/acrylic pieces on the cane edges (I show this method in these videos: 🌺. ua-cam.com/video/UYU8j903CzQ/v-deo.html 🌺. ua-cam.com/video/Yz_zJHJvplo/v-deo.html It helps me to shape the cane better. Another important thing: you need to use the same hardness clay (in this case, white clay should be as hard as black clay). If black clay is softer, white clay will squeeze it out while shaping. And your pattern will be distorted..
Could you do a tutorial on how to make a Finnish flag 🇫🇮 cane? That would be so awesome as I need to make some and have never worked with polymer clay before lol

Do you bake then cut or cut then bake? How do you slice them evenly?
I bake the canes for 10 min and then cut it with a sharp blade🌷

Do you freeze your clay before you cut it?
Yes, I do! And I always wet the blade for a cleaner cutting. 👌🏻
Where do you get your glass bevels??
I bought it on Etsy 🌷

How do you make the came longer? I smush it when I try :(
