    I'm switching to CLE Math 1 next week so checking out all the videos about it. The adorable baby was the big bonus here.

    Love seeing you pick up that baby, I am having my 5th in 8 days, and I will be homeschooling a first grader and 3rd grader next year with a newborn and 3 year old. Should be interesting! But CLE does make nice and easy 😊

    We LOVE CLE Math 1! We're almost done with Light Unit 103. I'm blown away at all my 1st grader is learning

    Thank you SO much for this video!! My 1st grader seems like she will be gifted in math so I bought singapore math for her this year but she was quite bored out of her mind. I saw your video, purchased cle math 1 and in 4 days she has done 15 lessons.(On her own prerogative) I figure if I just let her work up to where she needs to be by starting at the beginning she won't miss anything and she will eventually catch up to a 1 lesson pace. She seems so much happier although still at this point she says she can't wait for it to get harder haha. Anyway I also purchased learn to read from them which I am using along with alpha phonics for her and my 4 year old is also doing the learn to readprogram with her. I'm SO excited to have watched your video and tried this curriculum because I plan on continuing on as I feel this is the curriculum I've been looking for!! Thanks again for all your fantastic videos!! They are very encouraging to this Mama!!

      Oh my goodness! This is wonderful to hear, thank you so much for sharing. ❤️
      That is 100% why we switched to CLE. My son actually looks forward to math! We love the curriculum and are so thankful to have found something that fits his learning style so well. ❤️
      Thank you for watching! ❤️

      We started with Singapore Primary Math 1 this year and it brought frustration and tears. I don't know why. CLE looks much more straightforward. Did CLE end up working for you?

    Do you have to buy all of the books together or can you buy them separately?

    • @oursweetiebirdshome
      @oursweetiebirdshome  2 роки тому

      You can buy them separately which is wonderful if you want to give it a try before committing to the entire year! You can buy the individuals for only $4.10 or the entire year is $41. ❤️

    We are loving the level 4 and I want to do this with my 5 year old but the level 1 looks behind what she is capable of but don’t think she’s ready for level 2 with all the speed drills. Idk

      If she has a good foundation already and isn’t ready for level 2, you can just purchase the last 4-5 light units of the level 1 curriculum! I LOVE that they offer the units individually, and it’s much more affordable. ❤️

      Just throwing in my two cents as a fellow CLE Math user with multiple children. I had my daughter skip the Speed Drills in Math 2 simply because they caused her anxiety, and doing so was absolutely no detriment to her progression through the course or speed at solving problems. My son, however, does them because he enjoys racing the clock. :) You can take or leave those Speed Drills, in my opinion, and it all still turns out just fine! :)

      Hi! My five year old is also between levels (grade 1/2). We’re using grade 1 level math and it’s seemingly easy for her so far. The light units do progress and get challenging overtime. Right now I’m just thinking of it as review until she gets further into the units. Light units 4-5 seems to be when the books get more challenging. By the way, level 1 also has math drills. I think your kiddo will do great in the drills if you get the math flash cards and follow the instructions in the teachers guide. I was a little apprehensive about the drills too. But it’s now my daughter’s favourite thing about math. It gave her so much confidence and she’s even coming up with her own math facts because of the math drills and flash cards. We’re about to finish the first light unit and loving the program so far.

    How long does it take to finish..I'm trying this with my almost 6 yr old..I was hoping it could be done in 10 min

      We can do it in 10-15 minutes per day. It’s great for the little years! 🙌❤️

      The teacher guide does include things like counting 1-100, counting backwards, counting by 2’s, 5s, and 10s, etc. that’s is not on the student workbook page. Just FYI. I didn’t know if you were aware of that or not.
