Frr!!! Love the braids, this is just MY opinion but the dreads weren’t it idk if it was the color maybe I would’ve liked them if they were darker or more blonde but these braids are GIVINGGGGG

Whenever I take down a style, I never start from the back only the middle lmao. The only reason is so that in case I get tired, I can at least throw it up in a bun. Say that’s tacky but it works for me hunty. Those who do protective styles know what I mean 😆

Sad to see the locs go. 😭 You were the one that actually solidified my decision to get loc extensions. I've had mine in for about 2 weeks now. But as always, I enjoyed the video and your braids look AMAZING!
Next time add red back to your hair before going back to black. When you bleach dark hair, you remove the pheomelanin. So every time you had black to blonde, it’ll look green because that red is missing. So add red next time you do it, and then go back to black. It’ll be black black, with no green.

Taaayyy!! I feel you. I’m 24 and I had locs since I was 10. A month ago I combed my locs out and I feel amazinnnggg!!! Mine were down my back and I had cut them up just pass my ears (last summer), then they grew down pass my shoulders and that’s when I combed them out. And my hair is still pass my shoulders
And I was rushing to get them out cause I had an appointment for Fulani braids AND a flight on the same dayyy!! 😂😂😂

i’ve had locs for 4 years and i’m planning to comb them out in the next 3 years after i finish college bc ik if i have to deal with my hair i’d freak but thank you for this, ever since i thought about combing them out i’ve been seeing posts everywhere about coming out locs 😭
also was ur hair super thin/damaged after you combed out ur locs and did it have to trim a lot of hair??
@@imanijai8357 nooo, it wasnt damaged at all. Since I had cut it like less than a year ago I just needed a small trim, nothing major. But it was still full and healthy. I was so sure that I would be bald headed but I was fine. I was so shocked at how full beautiful my curls still were as I had never paid attention to them when I was little before I locked my hair. Maybe do like a deep condition just to add extra moisture.

Because I was a lazy child it took me 2 months (the entire summer) to take mine out. I was walking around with a straight hair patch in the middle of my head and locs on the perimeter lmao... buuut it was refreshing to see you complete it in 3 days.

We loc’d up around the same time and I just combed mines out about 2 weeks ago😂 literally just so I can get braids again & I was tired of my wigs giving Humpty Dumpty

I loved the locssss but kind of expected this just because hair is so versatile and fun to switch up. And locs can be a hassle if you’re someone who likes braid and wigs cause once it’s too long das it! lol I’m about to be a year locked next month and the only time I contemplate combing out is to do microlocks. I’m not going back to my natural hair, I refuse! 😂 I’m not as patient with my loose hair as I am my locs cause I have way too much hair to be doing every week. I’d be looking like Larry the Lobster by the end of the day 💪🏿

I’m right with you girl, I just combed mine out a couple weeks ago after over a year. I missed changing it up too and it’s harder with locs 😭 I missed my loose hair so much and it’s okay. It was weird because after I finished my last loc, this huge wave of sadness came and I literally cried lmaooo you do get attached to them. I colored my hair back black too from red

I wanna get the courage to do more to my natural hair but girl I just can’t 😩 . I big chopped 6 years ago and grew my hair nice and long and thick and all I wear is protective styles . I finally dyed my hair (the halo only) the beginning of this year and wore it out for a month then back to my protective styles . Like my hair is my security blanket , I’m so extra and protective of it it’s crazy 🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️🤦🏾♀️

I defiantly know how you feel Tay! I just combed out my locs after 23 months! It took me 15 days because I took lots of breaks and some days I just didn't feel like it also I'm 6.5 months pregnant so I didn't have the energy. It feels so good to be loose natural again but I have no idea how to style my hair now!!! I'm just happy I can get all the regular styles now!! I needed a change and I was so bored with my hair! This was the longest style I have ever had! So happy my husband convinced me to not cut them out!
