There are four digital brushes I use when inking my comic book art on the iPad. They are:
    1) IGB CrowQuill Pen
    2) Technical Pen
    3) Ink Bleed
    4) Gesinski Ink
With the exception of IGB CrowQuill Pen, these brushes are defaults in Procreate. And I use each one of them as they come preset within the app. This means I have not modified them in any way.
The focus of this video is primarily on my use of the CrowQuill Pen, which comes from Ink Gang Boss, available at Creative Market as part of the Procreate Vintage Comic Ink Brushes: crmrkt.com/9GNwdG
I give a quick demo on how I use the brush inking one of my comic book pages. My comic book series is The Realm Ethereal. You can read it for free at my website: www.renearreol...
If you really like it, you can download the first two issues for FREE at: www.renearreol...
If traditional comic book inking is more your kind of speed, you can check out a blog I wrote about my favorite traditional comic book inking brushes, pens, and related accessories at my blog: www.renearreol...
And finally, if you like the art you see here, you can help support me at my Patreon: / renearreola

Learning and drawing is so much fun, I just wish learning drawing wouldn't take up so much time :D

It has to be fun for you! It's what makes all the time worth it. For instance, I have been working on my own art and comics since I was 14 years old. I never look back and say "what a waste of time", because I'm having fun all the time, creating new characters, designing new worlds, excited for creating the next page of my comic book. At times, it seems like no one is paying attention. Then, from out of the blue, Upper Deck contacts me...and they invite me to work on a Marvel project :) Keep on making art, don't expect anything in return EXCEPT to push yourself to love your craft and get better at it. That's all you can really hope for, then, when opportunity presents itself, you are prepared :)

Thank you for the video! I would love to know what kind of templates you are using for your pages.

You're welcome! I created my own templates in Adobe Illustrator, which I then just turn into JPEGs that I pull into Procreate.

Hello! Your drawings are wonderful, could you guide me on how I can purchase the Gesinski Ink Brush?

I would like to know how you got into drawing but not like the classic approach (I mean that would be interesting too), I'm more about how to learn learning to draw (yea that was on purpose), because I've like scribbled and drawn all my life and I love comics (manga in this case) I love all the panels and details, different styles, nothing makes me happier, but whenever I draw I'm just like a random number generator and when I see something (like looking at clouds) I draw what I saw, then I'll leave it be and next time I look at it I see all the flaws and will correct them till I'm satisfied (I'm just recreating what I once saw somewhere else till it looks similiar and makes sense), but I've never actively learned drawing and that's very frustrating, I love learning things but drawing somehow is very.. I dunno, I learned video editing which takes long too but most of the time I can't even listen to podcasts while doing so and I still managed to sit on a project for 9 hours straight, for some reason I can't do that with drawing "actively learn".
I saw so many artstyles and details I really love, but I can't create them, I thought I'll just train, train, train from now on starting with anathomy drawing practices but I think my real problem is, that I have no ideas at all, no creativity, I want to create magical worlds too.
Do you know that site that pops up some poses for some time so you gotta draw them rather fast before a new one pops up? I'm sure you know what I mean, because I've forgotten what it's called.

I started when I was like around 10 or 12 years old, I think. All I had back then were American comics (Marvel, DC) and some cartoon shows as a kid growing up. There was no internet and I wouldn't discover a comic book shop until I was around 14 years old. But all I really ever did was just read comic books and try to write and draw my own. These days, there's so much more you can find online--there's almost too much LOL! To study anatomy, I wrote a blog on my website that talks about my process and books and stuff: www.renearreola.com/blog/5-ways-to-improve-figure-drawing-for-comics-and-fantasy-art/
