It’s definitely a lot of fun to just use your imagination to make the worlds your own! And the King of Brindleton Bay was the eldest son of the Oasis Springs Royal Family but his wife is of Hispanic descent. I guess it doesn’t really have a culture because the king is the first king of Brindleton Bay and only recently found the kingdom but people were saying it’s like a “new money” vibe! Although, all of the noble families come from all over the world and it was more of a place for them to escape. I may have Prince Johan (the heir) try to connect it more to his Hispanic roots though

I see that most of your noble families are related to the main royals, but how did you originally set them up?

I’m not sure if there would be a way to make a sim blind and make it feel realistic in the sims): they should make that a trait! And I love that palace too!

Thank you so much! When I first started the kingdom, I had originally had southeast Asian/Indian in mind and Hsu came up on the list when I looked at southeast Asian surnames. I’m not sure why that was on the list, but I didn’t realize it was Chinese till much later 😅 I’m looking to give all the royal families surnames in the next season, so I’ll probably change Oasis Springs to be more culturally accurate, especially since it’s evolved into an Indian and Arab inspired kingdom now!
Girl, you've really inspired me to create a royal family legacy of my own! I'm not sure why I haven't thought of doing that before. I'm currently working on creating a royal family for each world I have. So far I have a British inspired family in Windenburg, like you do. Then I made a West African inspired family for Oasis Springs. I'm currently working on a Elven inspired royal family for Glimmerbrook, and they're of course gonna be wizards! I've been a long time fan of the Sims now, and although I'm not really super into Sims 4, I've been writing a webstory about a royal family. This seems super interesting to do. @@MiraRaeSimmer The game I don't mind so much, although it has its flaws like everything else, it's more the way EA chops it up and sells lesser quality/quantity for more money. I've played since the Sims 2, but the Sims 3 is my favorite. I've been running a blog doing stories of various challenges/legacies using TS3 for a while now, but I have really wanted to do a UA-cam project too. TS4 seems perfect for that. As I mentioned, I'd also like to go the way of imitation is the highest form of flattery and doing something similar like you have set up if that's all well and good, haha. I'm up to Episode 67 of the first season now. I have been skipping to the most important parts of them though more than watching each minute. It's kinda frustrating because I have almost 120 chapters of the story written, but I'm waiting for the website I want to post it on (tapas.io) to hold another of their contests they have to give it a shot at getting a premium publishing contract with them. I thought they'd run another for NaNoWriMo in November, but there's still been no word so far, lol. In short though, the story is called Kingdom of Sun. It's a reincarnation story where the main character becomes a princess on another world after giving her life for another on Earth. The new world has a Greek-like pantheon of gods with each kingdom primarily worshiping one of them. She is, naturally, born into Solstice, kingdom of the sun god, Iteus.
Loved this! I've been building up a set of nobility in my own game recently, no royalties though, but some dukes, barons and lords. It's been fun reading up on titles etc. Funny that you mentioned the purple color, that's the family color of my House de Cavalier. I use the family's color in weapon and decor, and old trad heirloom. Some of these are seen in my video series As Sims Go By, and the rest will get some attention on my blog I guess. I do have some of the renovated ones on my gallery (ID: TheRealMiraRae) you just have to make sure the “include custom content” box is checked! One builder I definitely recommend checking out on the gallery is LordCrumps. He has amazing palace builds. I also have a few videos on my channel showcasing some palaces. Hope that helps!
I love your royal game play. I use to make royals in sims2 and sims 3 . I'm getting back into it. I've noticed from the royalty under the influencer trait category I use the prince crown to make them into royals I haven't found a princess, queen or king or monarch trait.

hey there rae! im rewatching season 2 and i have an idea. you could have two heirs marry and their kingdoms join together, to keep track you could put their last names something like Wildenburg (willow creek and windenburg) and they could stay together for a few generations but then theyre is like a civil war or something (idk if that matches ur type of gameplay) where theres a split in the kingdoms and they return to two kingdoms

That is totally my fault! I thought this whole time I had named her Ilsa and didn’t realize I had spelled it wrong her ENTIRE life 😂 so I’ll probably just pronounce it correctly from now on with the silent S! Thank you for pointing that out though and for being so nice about it 😊💕
2:15 Hello, a Brit here :D Windingburg is interested cus it kinda mixes up a bunch of styles. Some of the pubs SCREAM British to me. But the actual house design is more chocolate-box fantasy to me, and a lot of those fantasy designs originate in Germany. Also I notice there is a lot of Scandinavian inspired design with the more modern houses. So overall I think they just mashed Northern+Western Europe asthetics together (the big mansion with the ghosts in it I think is based off French architecture.) Anyway, I thought I'd give my two pennies just in case anyone was interested :)

Ah, a Simmer after my own heart when it comes to custom content. I use/abuse custom content a lot, mainly because the game leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to clothing, decor, etc. I'd like to share with you the name of my king for this mod (not sure you'll get the reference, but stranger things have happened). I call my ruler King Enerey Theeighthiam, and he's married to a woman named Margaret Widownextdoor. I'm also thinking of adding a Sim to a different household named Herman, who'll be a hermit. (second verse, same as the first . . . .)
Hey can you make a video where you find all of the CC you sue for your sims! Like for the Toddlers, children and men, because it’s hard to find good CC, especially proper for a royal family member or an upper class
I have wondered how on earth you find all the CC's and Building CC's and how much time goes into it. I have a hard time trying to find what CC for what I want, since there is so much out there and who is safe, I just thought there was only TSR, Tumblr, Simsdom, Pinterest sims4 updates. But trying to find other CC if you don't have a name of a creator I'm stumped. Looks like mods appear to be a essential since you need Traits for your Sims, Lot Traits, Career's really can't think of the rest. I have watched The-Mom-Cave Machinima the Cursed (excellent story my emotions were all over the place) there is a Royal Vampire an Angel even a alcoholic, Witch you name it. I'm going to watch your Part 1 as well.

I believe its now the oldest in Windenberg as they are going more modern. As for May's death it was embarrassment (though not sure what embarrassed her) . Though she has mentioned that perhaps someone poisoned her because of her relationship with Johan.

Windingburg is interested cus it kinda mixes up a bunch of styles. Some of the pubs SCREAM British to me. But the actual house design is more chocolate-box fantasy to me, and a lot of those fantasy designs originate in Germany. Also I notice there is a lot of Scandinavian inspired design with the more modern houses. So overall I think they just mashed Northern+Western Europe asthetics together (the big mansion with the ghosts in it I think is based off French architecture.)
Anyway, I thought I'd give my two pennies just in case anyone was interested :)

Ah, a Simmer after my own heart when it comes to custom content. I use/abuse custom content a lot, mainly because the game leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to clothing, decor, etc.

I call my ruler King Enerey Theeighthiam, and he's married to a woman named Margaret Widownextdoor. I'm also thinking of adding a Sim to a different household named Herman, who'll be a hermit.

I have wondered how on earth you find all the CC's and Building CC's and how much time goes into it. I have a hard time trying to find what CC for what I want, since there is so much out there and who is safe, I just thought there was only TSR, Tumblr, Simsdom, Pinterest sims4 updates. But trying to find other CC if you don't have a name of a creator I'm stumped.
Looks like mods appear to be a essential since you need Traits for your Sims, Lot Traits, Career's really can't think of the rest.
I have watched The-Mom-Cave Machinima the Cursed (excellent story my emotions were all over the place) there is a Royal Vampire an Angel even a alcoholic, Witch you name it.

I believe its now the oldest in Windenberg as they are going more modern. As for May's death it was embarrassment (though not sure what embarrassed her) . Though she has mentioned that perhaps someone poisoned her because of her relationship with Johan.
