I own one in 6.8 Western, and it didn't take long for it to quickly become my favorite rifle and favorite cartridge. This is a dream to shoot, and it's ridiculously light weight. This is the perfect rifle for those trekking through steep terrain, canyons, mountains, or expedition hunts. It's accurate, and the short barrel allows for a can.
Excellent review exactly what I needed to see. I am a firearms collector and enthusiast. I've never hunted for game. This is something I feel is a need and important not just as a gun owner but also as a human being on many levels. I have a tentative trip to Texas for a deer hunt with a few experienced hunters and a personal instructor for obvious safety concerns. I just purchased a Ridgeline FFT LH 308 on faith this is the right rifle for deep hunting given a very brief look at my options. The next thing on my list is an appropriate scope. Thank for the overview again very helpful.
I was thinking about ordering a left-hand one in 7mm-08. I've been hearing people complain about having problems with the brass not ejecting on some though.....
I have read some complaints regarding failure to eject, most of them seemed to be related to 6.5 calibers, not 7mm-08. I can say none of my customers have related any issues to me. However, I have not dealt with any LH Christensens.
I own 4 christensen rifles and I can assure you that those rifles are the best shooting guns i have ever had !!! and here in germany shooting is all about groups , a rifle that shoots more than 20mm at a 100m is considered to be a piece of junk for precision shooting, but might be ok for hunting. my .22 ranger groups at 50 meters with the cheep cci standard velocitiy about 12mm , my 6.5 creed titanium ridgeline groups at 100m about 10mm, the .308 ELR groups are under 10mm at a 100m, same with my .308 MPR ! all rifles have the carbon barrel and shooting was done prone with harris bipod and a sandbag and top notch ammo, shooting was done after the break in procedure. I do the break in a little different as CA tells ya, lets call it the german way, its a little more effort and ya need a couple more bullits. my opinion those rifles are a bang for the buck, quality and performance is outstanding! hope that helps to get to a decision. cheers from Germany
I am planning on getting myself one, but in a 308 Winchester. What do you think? Will it be worth the money. I want to know from someone who already got one, and by now, I'm pretty sure you ready done many rounds on yours.
How much does it cost ,, gonna wait awhile to see if ammo is plentiful for 7mm prc,, i,m a gun collector and would prolly purchase one for a hunting trip
@@redroodefense3220 Thanks for the reply. I’m familiar with chamber/bore guides. I thought I heard you describe it as a muzzle guide, which confused me.
Great question, I don't have any experience with the Fierce Fury. From what I have read they are also an exceptional rifle, although the Ridgeline is about a pound lighter. If I ever get my hands on one I will be sure to put out a video!
So, how many red roos are you needing to defend yourself from? I am in Australia, and I have never had to do so, they are pretty passive unless you approach them the wrong way, which is incredibly easy to avoid. Or are you somehow the figurative red roo that we all need to prepare to defeat? Please outline your unique situation.

Glad you like it. That's pretty much my thoughts too. Thanks for watching!

Thanks for the informative video. Good day, sir.
Thanks for watching and commenting!
Can you please do a shooting review, provide targets. Really want to see what kind of groups they will shoot
This rifle has already sold. Most everything I unbox here is for sale so I can't shoot it unfortunately. Thanks for watching!
@Red Roo Defense cannot find a ridgeline FFT shooting anywhere. I'd like to buy one for my wife, but interesting on shooting feedback. Ty sir
@@Ryan_YoungUSA if I get some feedback from the customer, I will be sure to pass it on. I know the previous ones that he bought all shot very well.

I think it would be well worth the money. My customer would not hunt with anything else and owns more than one. Thanks for watching!

MSRP for the Ridgeline FFT Titanium in 7prc is 3400. Thanks for watching!
So, you are supposed to clean this rifle from the muzzle end ?
No, breech to muzzle. It is recommended to use a bore guide to prevent solvent from entering the trigger group. Thanks for watching!

@@ellobo1326 gotcha. Yeah sometimes I can't think of the right word. Sorry for the confusion!
Got one in 16"/308. Mines button rifled..
Why did you sell it? Wyoming guy
I'm a gun shop, it's what I do. 🙂Can't keep everything or I wouldn't make any money. lol

Never knew you were in Gray. I’m down by WR. Next time I’m enjoying Naked Fries at Pickle Barrel I’ll stop in and say hello.
Hey yeah please do! Give me a call as I work from home so I'll make sure I'm here!
Everybody talks about the weight of these rifles but nobody shows how do they shoot.
What is your opinion on Fury rifles vs Christiansen?

It sucks for me, I spent $2100 on a ridgeline, and about 6 months later the FFT came out
You've still got a great rifle though!
Christensen barrels are button pulled rifling not cut
Bottom line is it a shooter? Thanks+Wyoming guy
from everything I have heard, yes! it definitely is a shooter.

That damn Skippy.
Trigger tech is from trigger tech not Christensen
50 rounds break in-- hell I could have shot 50 elk. Lol
LOL I know it does sound like a lot. It is what they recommend but I do know others who have not done it and have not had any issues... ymmv
@@redroodefense3220 noted -- if I do get one I guess I will do what is recommended -- thanks
Everything is backwards.
Typical camera settings. I think I fixed it so we will see on my next video.
