Dave Ramsey for US President 2024 🇺🇸
No major decisions 6 months to a year. Best advice ever.
Im sitting here thing, 'why is Jonathan, the first caller, on the phone with $20k in the bank at 21yrs old? He should be in the studio.
2010 Corolla is solid and cheap cheap cheap
Following Dave's money principles helped me turn my financial life around. Forever grateful.
Absolutely valuable amazing show.
Love AO and John!
SO much of this episode spoke to me, husband parents don't like me, child with special needs, husband stepfathers my three kids.... Lots of tears of connection listening to this. 💛
The accountant was one of my favorite all time movies. Alternatively The Accountant woman caller is so strong and inspiring!
Great
hi dave
Apartments are a lot tougher without a credit score. For how much extra effort it takes as a young person to get an apartment without credit history, it's really not worth being hard-headed about it. Establishing a credit score with a $200 secured card was enough for me. Sometimes you have to dip your toes into something you hate because that's just the way the world works.
I was thinking about that also. During apt hunting, especially in specific areas, you have to do a lot to prove yourself. I have been able to avoid credit score-required apts, but it took quite a bit of hunting.
Give advice to the people who are living in the real world and living in the reality of debt exists and how to navigate it.
Where is dave
No he used his parents to live at home and save all his his money.
The first call in, the advice given is kind of irresponsible. Unless you come from wealthy parents you most likely will need to rely on a credit score with future/bigger purchases. That 20k cash flow came from years of saving up. He didn’t have expenses then but as he graduates life is unpredictable and most likely his expenses will go up. Relying solely on cash doesn’t take into account unpredictable life events. Building credit is great and the best thing a young person can do. It’s being irresponsible and living above your means in debt that ruins it. I hope the caller used his best judgment.
$20,000!!!!!!!!!
How do they talk about money and sit their with overpriced apple laptops
By saving and being smart with their money lol
By writing the overpriced apple laptops off as a business expense
By focusing on the necessary things not finding problem in UA-cam comments 😂
If Dave's not in the show I am not watching
