At the end I was so sure that it couldn't be them. I thought that they were probably working together to get Linnet's money, but that someone else had killed her first, and that Simon, scared that someone was trying to frame Jackie, had thrown the gun overboard.
And I was wrong. 😅 Well done!
This was my first theory too!! I think I mentioned it in the video? I’m not sure at this point but I legit thought the same thing.
But then by the end I was like nothing else except for the 2 of them makes any sense!!

It's the sort of 2nd part of Hercule Poirot's Mystery after the case of "Murder On Orient Express"
