AWESOME show Human JukeBox! The band sounds absolutely incredible, and the Dolls slayed that field routine! I understand stand the Juke hired and added a new Asst. Director to the team, and that he's an outstanding arranger. I can't wait to see what's instored for the rest of the season, especially the BoomBox Classic! I'm very confident that the Juke will continue to sit on their throne as "KINGS" of the SWAC! Awesome job Directors, JukeBoxMedia Team, Human JukeBox marching band, and lastly the Dancing Dolls! Well done! Southern University "Human JukeBox" marching is the standard for all marching bands period!

I was at this game and they sound and look great. They arrived fashionably late to make a grand entrance. After they performed at halftime the guy next to us said "man I can't even watch TCU's band after that". Lol

Let me give my unbiased opinion.....my loyalty is to the aristocrat of bands TSU out of Nashville Tn but as soon as heard the Junk Box was coming to my new home of Dallas Tx I had to go see them live!! I wasn’t disappointed but I’ve seen them perform far better in the past.... maybe mi expectation was to high because I just wasn’t blown away !!!

It usually is number 1. Always ranked that by somebody USA Today or ESPN or HBCU Bands. Historically they were the first to tour internationally & have appeared in more super bowls than any collegiate team. That's not counting the Sugar-, Cotton-, and Rose-bowls plus special events like their trip to perform in LAs Vegas onstage w/Mayweather and 5 or 6 presidential inaugurals plus New York Concerts back in the day. Since I can't seem to stop writing about my fave band, I'll also add there are other musical collaboratives @ SU - the SU Wind Ensemble and SU Symphonic Band.

I’m going to be very disappointed if these girls can’t bring back that spark that Danielle gave us for 2 years straight. I was really hoping her babies could hold it down but idk maybe it’s the captain choice 😐 I believe if Taneria was captain the spark would be there. Anyways I won’t judge cause it is VERY early in the season BUT I expected more.

Awesome drill "Human JukeBox"! I love how Southern continues to consistently drill the field to some pretty unique songs. No band dishes out fresh songs, to drill the field to, on a regular basis as much as Southern "Human JukeBox"! FACT!

I'm sorry but the dolls didn't give me any excitement or FIRE here! I'm convinced SU last season was absolutely a GOLDEN year for them! We'll never see that magic again!

y'all know the dolls look terrible. The formation was off getting on to the field. Spacing issues and the kicks were sloppy. The doll sponsor is the enemy.
I did not enjoy this show, but it is the beginning of the season. I will say Southern was better 2015-2016 and this new drum major just do not cut it. The drum major from 2015-2016 was so hype and he could really dance. I might say that the football team got spanked!
This is one of my all time fave shows. And, I love it when they play "Game of Love" while I hate that Justin Timberlake song.
