I'd rent it but I don't like it enough to buy it for 100,000. The furniture looks uncomfortable like that hard fake leather. I think they way over priced it.
That smaller tap is for drinking water. I remember my grandparents mobile home having one. Water always tasted better out that thing, usually has a filter of some sort for it
I bought an Eagle Cap 1200 in 2020, and I carry it on an F550. Fully loaded, including 500 lbs of fresh water and 1,000 lbs of bodies and stuff, I'm at 15,500 lbs, 2,000 lbs short of the F550's GVWR of 17,500 lbs. When they loaded it at the dealer there were a half dozen guys watching, they murmured with approval as the truck only settled about an inch. I like the 1200 95%. My 5% dislike is a list of small details I have corrected myself. And yes, the commenters who question an F450 as being adequate, you are correct. Both an F350 and 450 have GVWR ratings if 14,000 lbs, at least the model years I'm familiar with, overloaded with this camper empty. The $100,000 must be Canadian, I paid $52,000 US in 2020.
Hi Drew! Two kinds of campers I usually always like are fifth wheels and truck campers. I’m always amazed at how nice they are. They fit everything you’d have at home inside these campers!! Amazing! And they do it with some style as well. That thing is like a small apartment you’re traveling around with. Who doesn’t like that right??!! Anyway, thanks for the video! ❤️💜💚
F450 has less payload than a F350. The truth is if your going to buy a truck camper this size you should buy nothing less than a F550 or a 5500 chassis truck.
Hi Drew, I currently have a 42' Open Range 5th Wheel and love it, but I was somewhat shocked at how spacious and nice this unit is. I think what brings this unit so high in cost is the Aluminum shell?? It has a very similar build quality to the Open Range. As some have noted, the F450 actually has a less payload capacity to a F350 approx 6210 lbs vs 7850 lbs. The F450 GWVR is higher because it has larger axles and springs, but the added weight is subtracted from the payload (model 2022 #'s) in comparison to the F350. The engines are the same, which is a correction to one other comment. The F450 and up have a wider tire stance which would be a key factor in carrying this top heavy load.
I am currently shopping for an Open Range 5th wheel (I'm pretty sold on this camper), an F-350 or 450 (not sure what's going to work best for us just yet) and a truck camper. Different campers for different camping. We have to custom order the truck and will be adding a few very important things like wheels and suspension, we are going for the widest stance and heavy duty upgraded suspension on the back end along with a beefy stabilizer on the front end. Any advice would be helpful. Thanks!
Plus better options. Replace those theater seats with a long form table, replace the couch with a wardrobe, lots of options on a Mammoth. I think without double checking its a bit lighter as well. Oh, and significantly better solar options

They don’t make them any longer. Too many problems. I know because we bought one, then ended up selling it. The the best camper they made was the double slide 11.5 rear kitchen Adventurer camper. Wish we never traded it in for the 1200 ft Eagle Cap.
if by problems you mean a badly designed camper that puts too much weight behind the rear axle and causes dually truck frames to break in half....yeah, they had problems, all right.

I do like it but I just don’t get it. If someone does need this much space they probably should get a trailer or bigger Class C. To carry is that you must need at least a F450 /550 Duley which may cost you Another hundred thousand dollars. I look like truck campers when you get this big they don’t seem to be a good value anymore Because you have to upgrade your truck so much. 🤷♂️
Thank you for your feedback. I understand your frustration. Tiny homes are becoming increasingly popular, so many of them can start to look the same. However, there are many ways to customize your tiny home and make it stand out. There are unique interior design options, exterior features, and customization options to make your tiny home unique. As for pricing, tiny homes can be expensive to build, but the cost is often offset by the savings on things like utilities and maintenance. Many tiny homes come with different features that can affect the overall price. I recommend checking out www.drewanthony.ca to explore the various options and prices available.
I understand your concern, however, I’d like to point out that the price of $100K reflects the quality of the tiny home and the inclusion of multiple slides. Way to big, heavy and expensive for a tc. Worst part is spending design time on a overweight turd like this just means the other tc's then lack ingenuity because they're not big ticket.
Poor poor Joe stealing all thank money , so sad.
It's the nearly completely same basic set up/design as everyone one else ... all I see is MEH ... mediocracy at best and honestly all of them are a crappy hind end design ... ESPECIALLY for the fact that nearly ALL of them are UBER HIGHLY OVERPRICED for what your getting
Also, YOU are the one showing this off and you don't know what the drinking water faucet is???

100k .. what a joke. I don’t care how many slides 🛝 it comes with.
