I need to put new ones? And or, cut the stopper? Any advice? I might know the answer but I need to hear it from someone else🙂
Sold baby! Great video as always. I have a 2012 mustang gt with 75k miles. Been in two accidents. The springs (maybe shocks too. Don't remember) were replaced after the first accident. Ride has been super floaty and bouncy. It is time for an upgrade. I'm looking for 0-60 time and 1/4 time improvement. I will take it to the 1/4 mile track. No auto cross. I will get the combo you mentioned in the video. What else do you rec? Any other packages available? Thanks!
You will love this combo man! It's a great base and the handling will be night and day. If you're looking to add a few parts, I would highly recommend also replacing your upper control arms, lower control arms, and go with an adjustable panhard bar. That will really wake it up. I'm looking for a 1.5" drop on my 06 GT and I've heard so many conflicting opinions. I want the SR performance springs. Do I absolutely need a panhard bar? Or is that only for drops over 1.5"?
Kevin Konig Great question and it is one that is debated plenty. A panhard bar is always recommended but for a mild drop like you are describing you should be able to get away without one. I would definitely keep an eye on your alignment and your rear end to make sure it does not shift to either direction but other then that you should be okay! Hope this helps. - Will
