- Driving down Capp Street in San Francisco, CA. This is raw hood vlog/documentary footage of San Francisco Streets during the night when the street workers roam the streets.
This video is intended for informational and educational purposes. This red-light district is also known for its high volume of prostitution. This video was filmed with a GoPro Hero 10.
Senate Bill 357 is now effective in California (effective 1/1/2023) making loitering with the intent to commit prostitution no longer a crime. Prostitution itself is still a crime, but this law has made it more difficult for law enforcement to combat these issues.
This video is being posted for informational and educational purposes only to let viewers see what is occurring in our communities.

This is home of the Red light district and it’s been that way since the 60’s.
Excuse me but San Francisco doesn't have a Red Light District. Prostitutes have long established "strolls" where both prostitutes and passing cars keep moving which isn't a crime. That's why it's known as a "stroll". The more common places are clubs and bars. So, what you never knew, you still don't. You need to look up the definition of, Red Light District.

I been down here, in 1999 first drive though like this - took a bunch of us new college grads - because I saw an HBO documentary on black tar heroin, and they said Capp St was the last resort for drug addicts and prostitutes. I paid a visit back just to drive through btwn 2000-2004 timeframe. It was bad, but looks to have gradually gotten worse.
used to go to a martial arts school out there back in the day. the mission was always a hood area because of the local hispanic gangs, nortenos on 24th and 30th street and surenos on 19th but it wasn't the way it is now
capp was a backstreet with a lot of residential properties and a lot of normal working class families. seems like its turned into a mini broadway since then

I know this might be hard to believe for people who aren't in the life, but some women actually like this profession over working at Walmart.
