tbh considering that people spend around $200 for regular Ray-Bans or even more for designer glasses like Prada, D&G etc (even though they are all made by the same company...) - $130 for sunglasses with built in camera and such cool charging case is really not bad.
AncyMoon just got my hands on a pair. Build is very nice and I feel like the price is justified.
It's just the style. I don't really like style. Got mine for free yesterday. So we'll see.
Next product release for Snapchat's next big thing will be Snap-Lens: Snapchat's contact lens. ETA: 2020. It will be available via drones.
I think they are awesome. I recorded my whole Nashville trip just for me. They are saved forever. Totally worth it.
You bring a good point up at the end. Snap has to find a way to to make this more than a gadget of the moment, but isn't that exactly what got them their fame, ephemeral experience?

WTF...the very function that everyone worried about with Google Glass, being recorded without knowledge, is a FEATURE here!? Where is the outrage that sank an previous incredibly useful product?
William Stonerock you know when you're being recorded. The light will spin to catch the bystander's attention to know something is going on.
