    Where does belami get the hair for their extensions? Am I the only one who wonders where all these companies get mass amounts of human hair??? 😂

      So you know when you donate hair? only like 20% of the time it actually goes to wigs for people in need. Companies can just buy the rejected hair

      Loooooots of hair is Asian hair (Indian, Vietnamese). There's many many people in Asia and they can just sell their hair (of course for a little money compared to what a customer pays in Europe when they buy them).

      Depending on where you live (our salons have been closed down until further notice) you'll know during your consultation because it'll get pricey the longer you go. I always go with 20in with several layers.

    Really wild she didn't soften that blunt cut to make blending easier.

    • @HelloMalaka
      @HelloMalaka 3 роки тому

      Not every client wants thin softened ends if they’re trying to grow it out.

      @lindsaysmith2401 you can tell they're two completely different lengths.

    She should have thinned out her ends

  • @katchuptokeeleys
    @katchuptokeeleys 4 роки тому +13

    Oooooo no...I think she should have shattered the ends (DEEP point cut on natural extremely straightened hair) this will give you SO much more of a blend for entensions. Do this before putting the extensions in. Also, I was taught to tap VERY lightly with a straightener on the lowest heat to seal the glue onto the hair and each other once you taped on both sides. Is this not correct?

      It depends on what extensions you use. Some companies like Glam Seamless don't require heat to seal.

    I like a more layered look especially with this bob longer extensions at the bottom going shorter as you go up.Otherwise too long too thick not at all natural looking. Love 2 or 3 tones as no hair colour is just same all over also like the idea of the darker root extension.

      I agree it's pretty obvious to me that they're extensions especially when the hair is short. It's a tough fill though with a blunt bob and thick hair. I'd have gone slightly shorter and added more layers to blend.

    Excellent technique with applying the top extension first!

      That's the only method that works to achieve flat and against the scalp- applying from the bottom bottom you get get drag effects, tangling, loose hairs, etc.

    How many tapes were used?

    • @MimiDidi121

      I wish this was answered, but i think you'll need at least 125 up to 175 grams if you're going longer! That's if your hair is thin to medium thickness and the texture is on the finer side. Otherwise you'll need 200+ grams! Hope that helps. I'm not a pro!

    Has anyone else started wearing extensions also just because you have also had problems having short and thin hair for a long time and not been able to get long and thick hair again which you don't have patience or not even have time to wait for some special reasons as me?
    How long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, can it be used again several times on hair, how long can tape extensions be on hair before it had to be removed, how long do I have to be without tape extensions before I can wear it again, how long can it last before it gets worn out, how many tape exensions do I need for short and thin hair when I want long and thick hair, how can I keep it on my hair without it falling off, does it feels natural like our own hair when we wear it, will tape attachment be invisible on short and thin hair, can it make hair worn, how to blow-dry my hair and tape extensions without it being worn if tape extensions have to be blow-dryed every time I wash both my hair and tape extensions and do tape extensions need any other products than just extra tape, remover and another shampoo and conditioner?
