That's so crazy, I bought tape-in extensions on Amazon a few months ago too and I was so surprised at how amazing the quality was! 💗 and I work in a salon and it's just as good as the hair we carry
Donna Bella is a really nice tape in hair company!!!! So I'm also a hair dresser and I'm certified in tape ins, just another tip, sulfate free shampoo that's best for the tape adhesive, also I always recommends retapping the hair (going and getting them moved up) every 4-6 weeks....I've never heard about putting them back like that if they do fall out...usually I recommend no heat near them as much as possible because it wears the adhesive out....also Sally's tape is terrible....I do not recommend
You should try unice hair I love it the quality is great and it’s really cheap I paid $42 you can color and use heat on them I’ve used mines for over a year and they still feel and look the same js lol
I had Zala tape ins......kept them two months and they tangled so badly that I had them removed. I've been wearing Bombay hair now for a year....best hair i've worn!!!

Anelise Alvarez I have tape ins and my hair is super thin so I cannot go a day without washing it. I recommend using sulfate free shampoo and what I have learned after years of wearing them (this sounds crazy but I promise it makes them last SO much longer and they stay healthy) is section off you hair and only wash the top of your hair (your real hair) and not the extensions every day. Do NOT wash the hair extensions every day unless you are able to buy new ones every 4-6 months because they will get thin if you do. Hope this helps. I absolutely love my tape ins.
Misses Brightside yes! You are able to use any product that you use on your own hair. Just make sure that you stay away from any products that have protein, sulfates, or alcohol in them. My hair gets SO oily but as long as I only wash the crown of my hair everyday and use dry shampoo it looks fine! I only wash my extensions every 3-4 days and compared to when I used to wash them every day this set has lasted me twice as long as they did when I washed them everyday.

I recently tried clip ons and I hated them lol it might have been the kind I used but they wouldn’t stay in my fine hair so I’m hoping the tape ins will be more successful. Have you heard of Zala tape ins? It's virgin remy European hair, and it's an Australia brand. 40 pack 16" for me was $160. I've seen Glam Seamless and Bombay, and they seemed overpriced. But your hair looks GORGEOUS! But if you're looking for something less expensive maybe see if Zala is for you! C: good luck💕
Alex Alkaline Yes if they’re installed very close to the hairline, there should be an amount of “leaveout” on the outside perimeter of your hair. So that your real hair can cover up the tape when you put it up

this was great thankyou - i looove full thick long hair, I have fine hair and have never been able to have this or grow it long naturally- I've had many years experience with clip ins, I have worn a halo these last few months but I find that even the halo wire can dig in and make my head hurt after a full day of wear(I loved the look of clip ins but always found after a few hours of wearing my head would be hurting) I am very keen to try the tape in hair extensions, so scared of hair damage but i just want to be able to wake up and have a full head of hair and not worry about attaching anything to my own hair!! thankyou videos like this give me some confidence to try it myself !! xxx
I’m getting tape in’s for the first time in a week and I have very thin hair, when you’re wearing them can you still wear a messy bun or pony tail ? Can you see them when you’re wearing your hair up? And do you lose any hair when having these in? I tried a clip in for my wedding just a single feather and when it came out it pulled the whole chunk of hair out that it was attached to. Just wondering if tape ins are damaging because I already have such thin hair. Thank you
dilenia rodriguez not really. Depends which way ur putting them in. Most of the times u can do a low ponytail. If u have them tapped in diagonal angle u will be able to do high pony tail

Samantha Lowe dry shampoo is life. Ever since I started nursing school I was so incredibly busy and tired I legit did not have time to wash my hair every other day like I used to. I started using dry shampoo and it works wonders! Use it right after your first wash like legit right after you blow dry it and in the mornings. I ended up only having to wash my hair once a week and it was easier to style

Just an FYI Hair will grow faster if you have extension or if you do scalp massages (best results if you keep your head down to have direct blood flow to the scalp area) 4-8 min so you don’t get dizzy after showering I’ve been doing it for years now with castor oil every night before going to bed and my hair grows super fast

I live in NJ and I am looking for a salon to apply my amazon tape ins for me but I am trying to gauge how much I am going to spend at the salon for the actual installation. Would you be comfortable giving the estimate/price of how much this salon charged you for the whole head? I plan on using as much hair as you did because I too like the voluminous look
My hair stylist told me it is okay to let it air dry throughout the day but try not to sleep with damp hair when you have tape ins because it is more susceptible to clumps and tangles or have your hair too wet because the tape does tend to slide a lot easier if your hair is too damp. Pat dry with a towel and then allow it to air dry and you should be good to go! I also braid my hair in a low braid before bed and put argon oil on the ends to keep the hair fresh, styled and moisturized which works great! And if you want it straight the next day it’s as easy as blow drying it before bed and straightening the wavy parts in the morning. Unfortunately it is a long process but the volume is so worth it 😊 hope this helps!
I’m looking into these but I’m freaking out about how many boxes I need. My hair is just past my collar bone and it’s not thin or thick how many boxes would you recommend ? And how did they hold up after sleeping in them and washing them ?

How do you feel about length? You didn't really show the length or a before and after. I want to try these but since my hair is already long I don't feel 20 will be long enough. I wish they at least had 22"
isabella carrozza there are wavy ones but if your hair is super curly you may want to talk to a stylist. I have curly wavy hair and I either use a curling wand or curlers to make them match my hair. You can also blow dry it straight. It takes forever but it works

Hi Melissa! You inspired me to ge the tape in extensions! I ordered the same hair and went to Judy at J&Co Hair to get them installed she was great! It’s been a week since I’ve got them installed and i washed it for the first time, i made the mistake of using silicon mix because I wanted to keep the extensions silky (i rewatched this video after washing my hair 😩). It did cause for on of my tape ins to slip out, what conditioner do you recommend using for the tape ins?

how long do they last, like how long until you need to replace them or get them re done.
It really depends on how quickly your hair grows and how you take care of the extensions. I can last anywhere from 1 to 2 months

When u wash your hair, do you wash it at night or in the morning? I read something somewhere that u shouldn’t go to bed with a wet head (is that true)?
I personally don’t like going to bed with wet hair. Wether i wash it at night or in the morning I’ll always let it air dry of blow it out either way

How do you feel about length? You didn't really show the length or a before and after. I want to try these but since my hair is already long I don't feel 20 will be long enough. I wish they at least had 22"

isabella carrozza there are wavy ones but if your hair is super curly you may want to talk to a stylist. I have curly wavy hair and I either use a curling wand or curlers to make them match my hair. You can also blow dry it straight. It takes forever but it works
My main concern is being able to see the tape ins

Hi Melissa! You inspired me to ge the tape in extensions! I ordered the same hair and went to Judy at J&Co Hair to get them installed she was great! It’s been a week since I’ve got them installed and i washed it for the first time, i made the mistake of using silicon mix because I wanted to keep the extensions silky (i rewatched this video after washing my hair 😩). It did cause for on of my tape ins to slip out, what conditioner do you recommend using for the tape ins?

Hey girl! I love your video! I bought the hair you recommended and it is AMAZING :D One down fall...my stylist BUTCHERED my hair!! She put the tape too tight and chopped the heck out of it. Now I am stuck with a little longer than short bob length of salvageable hair, so upset. But yours looks great! Can't wait to try again and find a better stylist!

Hi everyone, can someone please answer my one question. CAN YOU SWIM WITH TAPE IN HAIR EXTENSIONS REGULARLY? I spend a lot of time at the beach and in chlorine water and I want to know if they will hold well or damage my hair if I swim a few times a week?
As long as you dry the tape very well after you will be fine! If you leave the tape damp it’ll loosen it quicker
