I was disappointed with Lock Hunter. It would not allow deleting a directory with all of its contents. The files were locked by a program I have and use called Restoro. When I went into the directory to delete each file individually, Lock Hunter said it would delete the file at the next restart. I had to keep track, on paper, which files were marked for deletion and which were not. It did the marked files upon restart, but that is a hassle. Only after a complete restart was I able to delete the directory.
Liron, a suggestion for a video (though I'm thinking you've already done this): When I open Windows File Explorer and click on a folder, FE always displays the list of files and subfolders using only around 20 characters before the next field like file date or file type is displays. Is t here a trick I can employ to have FE display 30 or more characters-wide as the default, or 'longest-file-name-wide by default? Then, if that is (occasionally) too wide -- that would be rare -- then I can manually reduce the field width.
Within the File Explorer window you are viewing if you put your mouse on the Separator Bar between Name and Type (or whatever the name of the column to the right is) field at the top your mouse icon will then turn into a double headed arrow. Just click and drag this bar to the right to expand the Name field. Of course this only works when you have your View set to Details. As a bonus tip if you just double click the Separator Bar it will auto adjust to the longest name. 😎 Your Welcome!
