"Windows used to have a feature to synchronize folders, it was called 'briefcase' but no one understood how to use it": Not only that, but I've always seen huge problems using sync tools. Often getting files where they should be, or deleting files which it should not, or getting tons of file conflicts, etc.

@@LironSegev problem with this synchronize app is that if its like an excel file and you both update same lines, it will corrupt and wont be usable anymore, so only 1 can work at it at the time

I've been using Everything for quite a while now and it finally gives me what I have needed for years. There is a newer version that is not released yet (alpha? beta?) that also has the ability to search within files. You can also put the file type selection as a drop-down at the right of the search box. I love this tool!!!

First two tools can be replaced by Wiztree, also free. It is very fast as it reads the MFT for local disks, doesn't iterate through subfolders. It can show tree view, graphical view, list of all files (to search), list files by extension (eg to find out movies or .log are taking up too much space) etc

For wifi password sharing there is a much simpler solution. On my router there is an option to create a temporary wifi link with a temporary password. Just create the new wifi name and password and set a time limit. For example create a wifi link named "birthday picnic" , tell everyone at the birthday picnic the password, then for security have it all disappear in a couple days. I have used it for contractors who want a link to their office. Safe and secure!

@2:05: Treesize: actually, I also use Everything.exe for that. I downloaded the beta (1.5), which has more options. Anyway, 1.4 can easily be used to find the largest files.

Hi there! Could you please share some info as to how can I connect multiple Bluetooth headphones (wireless) to a single audio source (laptop etc.) for Listening activity in a language lab? I need to have the technical know-how to help and teach students. Thanks!

Well, they did lead the charge in outsourcing tech support to India, so I think that tells you all you need to know.

These are great to know, thanks! My biggest frustration is screenshots. On a Mac, i just click the key combo, outline what I want, release, and it puts the screenshot on my desktop. I don't have to open something else and paste it. Why, Windows, why do you make this so hard??? 😩

Shift and the print-scteen button takes a screenshot of everything in your screen and you can paste it into a document (if that's what you meant)

@@LironSegev Thank you for responding! But actually I meant *not* having to paste it anywhere, just having the image file immediately available on my desktop.

    "You'd think that Windows would..."
Hey, it's not like MS has been making OS's for 3 decades. Cut them some slack.
I mean, they can't get a Word processor THEY made to work w/o crashing on an OS THEY made, so clearly they're some new startup company.
