"Windows used to have a feature to synchronize folders, it was called 'briefcase' but no one understood how to use it": Not only that, but I've always seen huge problems using sync tools. Often getting files where they should be, or deleting files which it should not, or getting tons of file conflicts, etc.

@@LironSegev problem with this synchronize app is that if its like an excel file and you both update same lines, it will corrupt and wont be usable anymore, so only 1 can work at it at the time

I've been using Everything for quite a while now and it finally gives me what I have needed for years. There is a newer version that is not released yet (alpha? beta?) that also has the ability to search within files. You can also put the file type selection as a drop-down at the right of the search box. I love this tool!!!

First two tools can be replaced by Wiztree, also free. It is very fast as it reads the MFT for local disks, doesn't iterate through subfolders. It can show tree view, graphical view, list of all files (to search), list files by extension (eg to find out movies or .log are taking up too much space) etc

I have a USB disk attached to my router. Two of my computers can access that USB disk, while the third one cannot, because I never set the password on that third one and now cannot recall it or read it on/from the other two. I was disappointed with Lock Hunter. It would not allow deleting a directory with all of its contents. The files were locked by a program I have and use called Restoro. When I went into the directory to delete each file individually, Lock Hunter said it would delete the file at the next restart. I had to keep track, on paper, which files were marked for deletion and which were not. It did the marked files upon restart, but that is a hassle. Only after a complete restart was I able to delete the directory.

Liron, a suggestion for a video (though I'm thinking you've already done this): When I open Windows File Explorer and click on a folder, FE always displays the list of files and subfolders using only around 20 characters before the next field like file date or file type is displays. Is t here a trick I can employ to have FE display 30 or more characters-wide as the default, or 'longest-file-name-wide by default? Then, if that is (occasionally) too wide -- that would be rare -- then I can manually reduce the field width.

Within the File Explorer window you are viewing if you put your mouse on the Separator Bar between Name and Type (or whatever the name of the column to the right is) field at the top your mouse icon will then turn into a double headed arrow. Just click and drag this bar to the right to expand the Name field. Of course this only works when you have your View set to Details. As a bonus tip if you just double click the Separator Bar it will auto adjust to the longest name. 😎 Your Welcome!

That WIFI password program sounds scary to me. Can hackers use this tool to get into systems critical information. Using this tool, is this secure enough that any critical data cannot be obtained. I am not sure getting passwords is a problem or not.
If I am all wrong about this then clarify to me if this tool is safe and not able to do criminal things with it to get important data???? I assume it just allows you to connect to a WIFI network, is that also the same with Public WIFI's
As you can tell, I do have my own WIFI and know its passwords. I have never done other public WIFI networks for usage.

The wifi password thing is a security feature. Because people are dumb and if you make it easy, then Phishing would have EVERYONE's passwords.

Careful with Classic Shell - most of the time its fine but I’ve seen it pooch windows systems its installed on (Both Win 8 and Win 10) . Its nice, but its an overlay that can affect things badly if/when you try to remove it.
