Favorite segment was hearing about Lance, George and Johan’s longest solo wins. The more storytelling, the better. Part of the reason I watch these guys. Love what you guys do.
Tratnik's form is on point! Not only 1st at Omloop....don't forget he also finished 3rd in Algarve two weeks ago, 3rd at Jaen before that, as well as 2nd in Murcia at his first race this season. Hopefully, he continues to be a powerful weapon for Visma throughout/later in the year.
Hi from Denmark. What an opening week this was. So glad to be back as a fan of prof cycling, and so glad to follow your guys again. Thx for a very good pod cast. Cheers.
Talking about bernal on stage 2 in camino .Lets also remember it was on an easy cat 3 with a lot of flat parts ant short steep parts . So even more impressive that jonas could just pull away .
Bruyneel is the best cycling manager of all time... Period And don't feed me that bs cycling is clean now....' Altitude Camps combined with micro dosing is the way to do it these days... It won't affect blood passport... Because they were at altitude Just my opinion
With Visma being so deep. It does make life tough for MVDP. Visma can make the race really hard really early 100 k's to go and their blowing up races. Visma's greatest strength is not being all in on Wout. Let it happen naturally if its gonna happen otherwise i think you play into MVDP hand. Like 30 K's to go DVB goes gets 25 seconds MVDP will have to turn himself inside and out to get Dylan back. While maybe Jorgensen or Laporte and Wout are in the wheels not working "as" hard. If Visma goes all into just win with anybody i think they'll be almost impossible to beat. If they go all in on Wout i could see them gettint beat if that makes sense.
That may be why MVP did cyclocross again he must see this. Even as good as MVP is you cannot beat all these superstars. I hope Wout wins Paris Roubaix and MVP wins Amstel Gold
First time commenting on any video or podcast just to say Johan's take on concussions is extremely poor. That mentality is detrimental to the health and future of the sport. The subject deserves to be readdressed in a future episode.
Pollitt was toast in the finally...it was not a strategy..his legs could not take the small climb to the line...He is huge in size compared to "little bitty" Trautnick...
Sorry, concussion protocol isn’t that hard. They’ve been doing it in NFL for a long time. They could have a protocol where the rider is allowed to remount his bike, ride along the medical car and get assessed
Or you could all riders do a baseline test pre-season - Rider crashes and hits his head - Rider then travels in the medical car for 20 minutes. Concussion baseline test is then does . Pass rejoin the peleton. Fail out of the race - This can only work in a stage race. @@LarsRyeJeppesen
Bernal cant do anything to crack Vingo will always be dropped in last 500m. Its all just become about numbers Bernal vo2max 90 Vingo 92 plus Vingo is more explosive. Bernal is lucky with a podium. Best option against Vingo is still Pogacar and Roglic deep into a tough stage. The Cian Uitjebroeks wont do it and neither can Remco. The course is too climber oriented for Remco or someone else. They have to make the course more all rounder.

Great to get back into the racing action!
The most impressive from Jonas Vingegaard at the O Gran Camiño was his descending on stage 3. Nice scenery, good pictures and great technique
Jonas takes the apex's like it's a video game, it was like the stage 16 TT at the TdF
Scary descend
Nothing there special…Of course you are danish😂
@@Montrealcycling You didn't find his descending impressive at all? Nobody said special. It almost seems like you have an agenda ;-)
It was very good, but still not fantastic, arms still too straight compared to Nibali or Mohoric
People like Spencer and Johan not "panicking" on what we are seeing from Cav/Astana speaks volumes!

That headshot that Yates took could affect him the rest of the season, he would be best advised to take a week or two off
Spencer is badass too
Super ..!! Johan 👏👏👏
What service, I presume streaming, are Spencer and JB watching the races on?
we are going to do a show very soon on how to watch. Confusing right now.
Thank you!@@wedu
For a couple of years I've puzzled over what's over that TV behind JB. Looks like an oar or a defective airplane propeller. Anybody know?

Yes, it was confirmed that Adam has a concussion...

You mean the Tim Merlier Tour.
When he's doing this in mid July it's a bit bigger of a deal though

I am shocked that Pidcock gets dropped up the climb guy is built for climbs. What gives?
Shorter climbs. The big guys can just produce so much power and the effort I'm assuming isn't as great as say a pidcock.
Spencer, great job but you really need to shave.
First
Spencer and JB Hager are so uninteresting.
