    As I'm listening back while wrapping up production, I realize this video sounds so "adult" *cough cough* when listening with a certain context in the back of one's mind... That totally was unintentional but I'll happily take pride in that! 😂 HAPPY THANKSGIVING Y'ALL!!

    Oohhhh...this is an old controller (model). I'm using it around +-2 years. Good build quality. Still strong. One of my main controllers. Thank you for review. They changed d-pad approach in new controllers like Kunpeng 20 or Kunpeng 40.

    • @Vizr.
      @Vizr. Місяць тому

      They send out old models in order to promote and offload product in stock. The shills just don't tell anyone. Which is why its always heavily positive.
      They did this a few months ago.

      Yeah I realized after the fact lol, thanks to a viewer that left a comment. I have the Kunpeng 20, the 40 should arrive soon. I'll be reviewing the 20 a little later, closer to the official NA launch. Seems like they only soft launched for the time being.

    Beitong Zeus 2 elite its a great controller buy not by any means new . It’s about a 3 year old controller. With that being said it’s still a great controller for fps games. And uses the same potentiometer sticks as the rainbow 2 pro controller. So they are very accurate

      @@ChantelMcclure-c9ckungpen 20 is a newer one but the kungpen 40 is the newest one. Basically a slightly upgraded version of the kp20. The dpad on them are great. The kp40 has adjust stick tension using the same mechanism type as the Vader 4 pro but it uses tmr sticks instead of Hall effect. The only thing about the kp20 the stick latency isn’t the best

    Is the Beitong Zeus 2 currently US exclusive? Amazon DE had a store page for it but is now showing an error, and only Aliexpress lists them (but they add like 20-30€ to the total amount since I'm located in Germany). Would love to check out optical buttons as a fighting game player. Mechanical buttons were already an eye-opener

      Not to my knowledge, but it's possible that they focus on a market, I found out after posting this video that this controller has been out for about a year. Maybe they sold out and didn't restock in some corners of the world.

      Thank you greatly for your support and the kind words! If you want an amazing d-pad on a budget, the BINBOK Ultra Pro came out of nowhere with a phenomenal one. If you only care for d-pad no matter the budget, the Turtle Beach Stealth Pivot is probably my number one d-pad of every controller I currently own, but while it's one of its strength, it has weaknesses to consider as well.

      It sounds like you need a d-pad killer controller and the Zeus 2 is really nice, really great. The optical buttons are awesome BUT, in my humble opinion, you'll have a greater advantage at those games with a killer d-pad than you would killer face buttons and if you agree, the Stealth Pivot is the better pick for your game selection.
      If you play those 2D games with sticks (no judgment here, I do sometimes too), then the Zeus 2 would be my recommendation because you have great sticks, and in that specific case, yes, those optical buttons are OP. That said, I can't speak on latency of neither but both felt great to me in responsiveness (do make sure to update the Zeus 2 if you grab that one).

      The Western World can be such a different market altogether, and the other way around too. Indeed, Beitong is not a familiar name in NA but I guess they are on a mission to change that and if they continue with releases like that, I think they definitely will crack that barrier, as Flydigi and GameSir have, for example.

    this controller is flawed in its current state in my opinion and with the TMRs and the near link can make it even more premium if they decide to add them in Zeus 3 maybe , i think they are moving very slow in a maket where gamesir is moving faster then all others . and the buttons quality and the quality control they are lacking in that department from the other reviews . the face buttons that is the big highlight in this controller and if they take the swappable modules tech from Mechenike they can become gods basically or a true Zeus lol .

    • @MonderMatrix
      @MonderMatrix Місяць тому +1

      35 ms input lag xinput with dongle , 15 with cable . this is a big deal no wonder why you couldn't aim well , and this is like someone shooting himself in the foot , some parts are premium good others are stright garbage.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  Місяць тому +1

      "i think they are moving very slow in a maket where gamesir is moving faster then all others" - So I got to be honest here, and this is a massive compliment towards GameSir but they'll never know. I think GameSir can't be a benchmark anymore. Not only do these guys never miss, they have a new controller just about every month. Here's a list of all the controllers they released this year alone:
      X2s / Nova Lite / Nova / X4 Aileron / G7 HE / Kaleids / G8+ / X2s Bluetooth / X3 Pro / T7 / Tarantula Pro / Cyclone 2 and we already know about the rumors of the G7 Pro. That's literally one controller a month and the crazy thing is each of them were outstanding in their own right, the lowest in the list is the T7 and it's by no means a bad controller, it just is arguably a re-release of a lesser G7 SE.
      So I've decided to not uphold their competitors to the same pace because I don't see how anyone can to be honest. GameSir is just something else.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  Місяць тому +1

      Yeah, I ended up checking after someone mentioned the controller was already out for over a year 😅 That would definitely explain why my score was so different, that and the polling rate

    • @MonderMatrix
      @MonderMatrix Місяць тому

      @@GameTechTalk i should be surprised that you know their entire lineup, but since you're doing reviews, you know it well better than most, and will take your word for it and the positive reviews on the Internet speak for their products, well it was an amazing year for controllers surprisingly feature packed with top tech like TMR and over that affordable with very good quality!!! They are not just there , they are crushing it!! But it's not by any means that are the only ones making good controllers , it's a market and every untiqe features the other companies have they should improve on that and they will be fine . I noticed many good controllers like this one (Zeus) are already amazing but with big flaws and that's holding them back and they are not fixing it, even latency is visible with Gamepadla now for every one to and we know which company is doing a good work.

    • @MonderMatrix
      @MonderMatrix Місяць тому

      @@GameTechTalk i researched this controller before and once you mentioned your score, i knew it has to do with their input lag , but the score with cable proves how they are shooting themselves on the foot, because the sticks are already of high quality, but they didn't care about the lag , and see the lag on the cyclone 2 and the G7s from gamesir , we need that, it's not an insignificant delay, it does make a world of difference, there's something good and something legendary like in video games 😆.

    I was testing Zeus 2 a month ago and it's not bad, but very overpriced. Latency in GPDL is okay in wired nothing impressive, wireless I'd say is terrible, with over 20ms on buttons and over 40ms on joysticks and outer deadzone is too high. Metal circular D-Pad is not holding in place very well, plastic quality is very average, it LB and RB are very wobbly, same as plastic part between them, triggers are making strange noises. I don't think that it is worth 100$.

    • @GameTechTalk
      @GameTechTalk  27 днів тому

      It leans on some great strengths while also balancing less desirable aspects. I think by your post that I ultimately had a better experience than you but I can understand why someone would feel this was overpriced and for the most part, I agree. For me, the D-pad wasn't an issue but a creator friend said the same as you, I wonder if they had batches of not properly magnetized ones, mine holds quite steadily.
