Genuinely wondering if this is worth doing or if I should just stick to crop plots. Seems somewhat complicated (but still kind of cool). Thanks for posting this!

Personally I just use a greenhouse with crop plots, but it is a cool feature.

the easy way
make a shovel, even wood will do ,point and click on the ground 100 times, water with watering can . plant wherever the seed is clickable, just spam
the hardest possible way
make a shovel
dig 50 times
make a ranch, ranching station bed
tame a buffalo
craft all the farming stuff
get em all filled up
start making holes in the ground
water it with the stupid contraption
by the time youre done you'd already have about a 1000 crop harvests with the basic shovel

Nice video, im wondering tho how good it is, i supose its better then wood crop plot at larger scale early game. But not sure it is better then iron+crop plot greenhouse

Honestly I get everything I need as a solo player from crop plots in a greenhouse. Without using fertilizer as well, It really depends which route you won't to go down. You will get more from crops with the farming, but its a lot more work, and with the introduction of weather effecting crop yields. It maybe worth testing it out first.

i cant get the seed cart to work at all. got like 600 dirt in it and 0ver 100 seeds but nothing happens. driving while activating or making it follow me.
