Sultry jazz and soul vocalist Tracye Eileen is a native of Chicago, a singer-songwriter, and recording artist. Tracye began her professional music career at the age of 49, after her second divorce and deciding to follow her dreams and lead the life she wanted vs the one she thought she should have. When her latest album was voted as Top Ten Album 2022 by Jazz in Europe, at age 61 Tracye made the decision to take early retirement from her corporate management job, and relocate to Paris to record her 5th album and expand her European and African audiences. While maintaining a dual career in corporate and as a performing and recording artist, Tracye founded Honey Crystal Records music label and Tracye Troy Music Publishing. She also enjoyed a 9-year residency at Buddy Guy’s Legends, the famous Chicago blues and jazz club, where she performed with her Quartet. Tracye has opened for many of the biggest names in the music business, such as Babyface, The Stylistics, Mary Wilson, Chante Moore, After 7, and Buddy Guy. She has established two new bands in Paris and has begun recording her new album in the Netherlands. Tracye blends her gospel roots with a rich, sultry sound that renders a great performance. Singing both Jazz songbook standards with a dash of Blues and Soulful R&B, she has the ability to captivate her audience by embodying the raw emotion of a tune, and the vocal chops to channel this into a powerful performance.
