Because I'm obsessive-compulsive, I actually typed in those bitly addresses before watching to see the rest. Turns out capitalization is important. The second one (2tjzdni) took me to an Amazon book called 'Thus Falls The Shadow' and I spent a good few minutes trying to find the reference to The Modern Rogue.
After buying my own UV blacklight torch I actually tried this with highlighter on offbrand post-it notes, it works almost even better. As long as the highlighter has a clean tip and is the same colour as the background paper you get an extra masking effect, since the paper uses fluorescent dye to look brighter. So you get a sort of glowing text on top of glowing background effect when you shine the light on it in a dark room. Obviously it's not going to show up in bright light but that's kinda the point. Noone would think to look for a secret message written in fluorescent dye on a background that they KNOW is going to glow!
Look into hobo graffiti. The shadow marks of Skyrim were based off of them. It’s genius if you ask me Edit: you can make a “black light” with scotch tape, a flashlight “phone flashlight works too” and a blue sharpie. Put the tape over the light and color it in vertically “lllllll” And the next one horizontally “=====“ And repeat. I think you need between 3-5 layers. Stack them up over the flashlight and it should be a “semi-working” blacklight
