When I camp (I only do so in a tent so far) the most frustrating thing is that the campgrounds in FL close their gates by 6pm. Which means you’re locked in before it even gets dark. That is definitely frustrating if you are used to just popping over to the store up to 10pm. It does require much more planning to make sure you have what you need. Some grounds have keypads to open the gates, but some don’t.
This is good information to consider. We weren’t thinking of the times campgrounds would lock up for the night… Thanks for sharing!
Why such a drastic change. I know from experience living in a RV is a challenge in many , many different ways. I love camping and love the more simple things and love the outdoors but living in a RV takes some patience and courage to tackle such a drastic change. Good luck and have some fun along the way.
