    I will stick with my old 2002 Tundra. Starts every day and plows snow. I can see everything under the hood.

      The spark plugs replacement on these newer Tundra are recommended every 40k miles 48mths. And unlike your 02 Tundra engine, you can't see or get access to anything. If you are not a handyman, be prepared to pay for plugs every 40K miles

    This why I stuck with a v8 I’ll retire with my tundra. 10-15 yrs down the line im curious about all that technology holding up

      Agree. I'm watching the forums to see how the higher mileage trucks (2022 & 2023) are holding up. Because my older truck won't last forever...

    Can you do an in depth video on the 2.4lt turbo introduced to Lexus in 22’ & Toyota in 23’?

    They designed it as if it was a phone not a truck

    Is the nonhybrid easier to work on? The nonhybrid is still twin turbo.

      @TheYotaChannel  7 місяців тому +2

      Correct, the non hybrid has the same twin turbo engine setup.

    What kind of technician are you. Are you similar to a mechanic?

    • @TheYotaChannel
      @TheYotaChannel  7 місяців тому

      Yes, an auto technician. Same thing, different terminology

      @@TheYotaChannel Why the change? I thought an auto technician sold cars.

    yo.....sound like you need to retire...cuz luckily for you as a tech, Toyota's are reliable enough to endure bar none. Master? questionable.🤔

      They are reliable, but the maintenance on this truck will still be more costly than the previous generation. Spark plugs, for example, are recommended every 40k miles. Most customers won't be able to change these out by themselves.

      @@TheYotaChannel I doubted you, so looked up the recommended maintenance for the Tundra Hybrid - you're right! 40k miles is a lot shorter than the interval on my 3URFE (120k miles).
