I work in Camden Town we need to meet up as I like your videos. Camden Town is a bit of a tourist trap. I don’t know what it is but Camden Town attracts so many Spanish and Latin tourists to the area.
I wouldn’t call Camden ‘the real London’? It’s very up market these days! Camden used to have some really good bars and clubs back in the day though. Like most of London in 2024 it’s all been gentrified beyond recognition. Locals have no community in some areas. Most of the local pubs have been sold of to corporate land developers at extortionate prices.
I grew up in North London and lived there for most of my life (until 3yrs ago). Moved to a small village in Cambridgeshire . Used to hang out in Camden most weekends back in the day (early 2000's) and was really great to see that it is still buzzing! My partner grew up in Venezuela and has made Arepa's for me a couple of times - lovely. Great video!
I know it's mental. I'd rather go to Aldi and get 4 beers and then sit on the canal or something. There's regents park and Hampstead locally that are nice to spend time in if the weathers nice. No wonder so many pubs are closing with the crazy prices.

Let's no stereotype Rap.....Rap is anything that differs from conformism.....he is more authentic than all the balaclava and camping chair in the hood kids
Camden is my kind of place. The mix of people, food, the look of the city just right. If I ever wanted to live in London your video was a good endorsement for Camden.

Weekends are the best. Also Brick Lane market is cool too. Also the Southbank by the River is nice and perhaps also try Battersea Power Station. Any more ideas I’m pretty sure I can recommend lots more.

£33 for fish and chips? 😂 Poppies are laughing all the way to the bank ripping off people. In Essex I get a large cod with small chips that looks like a large portion size, sachets of tartar sauce and fresh lemon wedges that is cooked fresh in 20mins for £13.50. And for that price they will deliver it to you. Poppies is like the gentrification version of traditional British fish and chips.
£10 for a beer - served in a plastic cup - you got to be pretensions to buy it. 4 bottles of Peroni for £4 in Sainsbury (and at least you know its real)

In Norwich City, England you can get fish and chips for under 5 pounds. So just over 6 dollars. London is a tourist trap. Try one of the UK's other 68 cities.
Well remove the cost of the beer, that was £12 odd, plus the fact when you sit down in a restaurant it costs more than the fish and chip shops that are take away only...hence the varying prices others quote here as they aren't comparing apples to apples

I live an hour from London by train and there are many areas and towns in London that are great for day outs like battersea Wimbledon and some of the parks in London like hyde park but camden town and Westminster is just overpriced and overcrowded because its tourist areas still got interesting food markets though. You should visit London's oldest food market called borough market near London bridge. And hopefully one day you visit my local city Brighton and hove its an hour below London
It 25-26 degrees and low 20’s even when it rains in the summer. This could hav been filmed a few months ago. People wear jackets in California and that is always hot. People also wear jackets to be cool. How many times have you been to the uk? The summers are generally hot here.
We've had weird weather in the UK this year. Our weather has been coming down from Iceland so it has been quite cold this year. We're currently in a heat wave now though. Judging from one of Carlos's other videos this was filmed weeks ago and only recently uploaded.

I live an hour from London by train and there are many areas and towns in London that are great for day outs like battersea Wimbledon and some of the parks in London like hyde park but camden town and Westminster is just overpriced and overcrowded because its tourist areas still got interesting food markets though. You should visit London's oldest food market called borough market near London bridge. And hopefully one day you visit my local city Brighton and hove its an hour below London

It 25-26 degrees and low 20’s even when it rains in the summer. This could hav been filmed a few months ago. People wear jackets in California and that is always hot. People also wear jackets to be cool. How many times have you been to the uk? The summers are generally hot here.
We've had weird weather in the UK this year. Our weather has been coming down from Iceland so it has been quite cold this year. We're currently in a heat wave now though. Judging from one of Carlos's other videos this was filmed weeks ago and only recently uploaded.
