More planetside footage like this in EVE videos! If anything this is what was always lacking IMHO, I know its all about space when it comes to gameplay, but lorewise trailers? Cmon it's so cool to look at things from different perspective.
Amarr is sounding more and more like every Clanner in Battletech lore. From what I remember, the book and video game descriptions of some of the Clans, like the Smoke Jag, still scares the hell out of me.
Never played Eve before in my life, but I've got to say, even after the 4 years since it's happened, Jamyl will be missed. That epic "What you give unto this empire, I shall give back unto you" was both promising and ominous, a testament to the idea that you reap what you sow and should you sow friendship and grace you will receive it in kind, and bloody retribution should you sow death and disorder. Amarr's not going to be the same without her.
+Michael VPS To prevent anyone with a claim to the Throne from starting a Rebellion if they don't win. Ritual Suicide in this case is synonymous with Forced Suicide, or Murder.
+AlloK Funny enough, Jamyl Sarum lost the game and had to commit ritual suicide but used a clone to avoid death. Long story short and a few years later she became empress... and supposedly died.
Ministry of Amarrian Secret Service (MASS) is one of the oldest corps in EVE, lead by The Holy Emperor Trigger, winners of the 1st Amarr Championships celebrates its 21st Birthday this month come join us.
+Captain Gaming Only the Heirs contesting the throne are compelled to commit suicide, upon which their own heirs step forward into their respective royal thrones and become Heirs to the Imperial throne as well. If their entire family lines are extinguished, you'd have anarchy within a generation...
I remember when Jove showed up for the very first time in 2003 in Stain space and kept jumping to different locations and finally getting trapped, their weapons shot straight through the shields and into the armor/hull, with around 99% resists. Took a whole fleet to kill their 3 ships, awesome event. I stopped playing EvE when BoB was disbanded.. EvE has gone downhill since then.
anyone else think the EVE universe needs a high budget series? cos this lore is just too good
Interestingly well designed exteriors. One might think that it's possible to WALK around in that scenario.
+Mozedo Don't be silly, walking's for ground pounders.
His voice makes you forget what he's just said.
+Michael Johnson hehe yes
+Michael Johnson Jesus christ you're right
Hey, look closely at that Typhoon when they talk about the Minmatar. It's using the new thruster animations!

+NeveranticStory It's actually just a bunch of station and stargate parts put together to make it look like a city. Still amazing though.
"Ahhhhhh-mar Ahhhhh-mar???". Alton... repeat after me... Ammmm-marrrr AMMMM-marrr AMMMMM-MARRRRR. Ok? Got it? (Someone get me an Inquisition chair!)
+Max Singularity You can't really expect a Gallente reporter to pronounce "Amarr" properly...

Well that escalated quickly.

BRAVE is back, baby!
"And which five are diestined to commit ritual suicide"
...Wat?
+Michael VPS To prevent anyone with a claim to the Throne from starting a Rebellion if they don't win. Ritual Suicide in this case is synonymous with Forced Suicide, or Murder.
AlloK Somehow reminds me of the general strategy in WW1...
+Michael VPS always been like this read more.

Matthew Pike Next plot-twist: Sarum is the secret leader behind both Sancha's nation, the Drifters, the Blood Raiders and the Scope!

I'm wondering if Alton Haveri will be the "ringside announcer" during the live combat.
Worse thing is if you read about it THEIR ENTIRE FAMILY LINE IS KILLED not just the participant lol

Why you don't make a movie it would be great one to watch.
We are evolving from walking in stations to walking on Amarr home worlds, when exactly?
1:12 What are details of such 'championship'? 😐 Also previous could have survived and|or with relatives. 🙄
Victory is declared? You declare war, and announce victory.

ROSES are RED
VIOLETS are BLUE

That bald champion looks a lot like me. Then again, all Amarr men look the same
